Aya: I believe that they're supposed to be called "patients", Rinrin.

Rinrin: Today, that is "Doctor".

Aya: What, exactly, are you a doctor of?

 

 

Rinrin: Science!

Aya: ....I see. Whatever, I just wanted darling to see me in this outfit. He's the one I wanted to play doctor with, not you.

Rinrin: Details, details. Now, where is that test...err..patient of ours?

 

 

Aya: I think I hear them arriving now.

Rinrin: Yes, there appears to be a vehicle in the drive now. Go get them, please.

Aya: Yes, Rin..err..Doctor.

 

Shortly thereafter...

 

 

Aya: Oh my! She's missing a leg!

Rinrin: Yes, Ms. Momo here is suffering from early stages of Black Knight's disease.

Momo: Is it serious, Doctor?

Rinrin: Have you had the unstoppable urge to say "Ni" a lot?

Momo: Um...no.

Rinrin: Nothing to worry about then. It's only a flesh wound.

 

 

Momo: So, can you fix it?

Rinrin: Of course I can fix it! What type of leg do you want? We could attach a porpoise tail to help you swim faster. Or a cheetah leg might help you run faster. Or a tentacle is good for general purpose functionality. We have many options!

Momo: Can you just re-attach my regular leg?

Rinrin: What? You're really going to go with the boring option? How about something with a bit more pizzazz?

 

 

Momo: Help me out of here. I think I should go elsewhere.

Aya: Upsy daisy.

Rinrin: Fine! Fine! I'll do the boring operation and totally won't do any unauthorized experimentation while you're under. Honestly.

Momo: That's not very reassuring.

Rinrin: Nonsense! Off to surgery, we go!

 

A bit later...

 

 

Rinrin: See? One leg, completely re-attached thanks to science!

Momo: Whoa! Look at all the pretty colors.

Rinrin: Don't worry..that will wear off in a year or two..maybe. Just keep it easy so that the new leg doesn't spontaneously explode.

Momo: Why would a leg 'splode?

Rinrin: Don't ask questions you really don't want the answer to. Next patient, Nurse!

 

And the next patient is shown in as Momo is rushed out...

 

 

Rinrin: Hello, Ms. Sasara. Are your allergies doing better?

Sasara: Yes, they are, Doctor, but...

Rinrin: But what? Another success story due to science!

Sasara: But lately, I've had a lot of craving for honey.

 

 

Rinrin: Low blood sugar is a common temporary side effect of surgery. It should pass shortly.

Sasara: And I'm tired all the time now. Feels like I could sleep for months.

Rinrin: Again, another common temporary side effect of surgery.

 

 

Sasara: What about the tail?

Rinrin: I'm sure it's just temporary and not anything that you need to contact the health board or police about.

Sasara: Actually, I kind of like it.

Rinrin: There you go! Another satisfied customer!

 

A bit later...

 

 

Asa: Doctor! We need to talk!

Rinrin: Yes? Are there issues?

Asa: Just look at me!

Rinrin: What appears to be the matter? You seem to be a healthy young lady.

Asa: Yeah, but I came in as a 50 year old black man!

 

 

Rinrin: Sorry, but it was a necessary side effect of the treatment.

Asa: My wife was the patient, not me, you quack!

Rinrin: Oh, yes. How is she doing?

Asa: You turned her into a newt.

Rinrin: Yes, but a very healthy newt.

 

 

Asa: Doc...I hope you have good insurance.

Rinrin: The malpractice premiums are high, but the coverage is good.

Asa: No..I meant health insurance for yourself, 'cause you 'bout to die!

Rinrin: Aya! Code 10!

Aya: Right..another homicidal pissed off patient. *sigh* Tenth today.

I see Rinrin is into Monty Python. And science. And gender-swap polymorphic experiments (haha, poor Asa, hope "his" wife is bi and has a thing for swords).

That might interfere with any love of swords as well since she no longer has thumbs to wield them with. Anyways, that's his/her problem now.

 

@Cryx: Heh. The price of me helping you fix Momo's leg is that I get to butcher their characters in a photo story..and you thought normal doctors charge ridiculous rates!

You do realize that would mean taking their ills to either Kymaera's M, my Nanoha (who while kind is definitely more of a damage dealer than a healer), or Saiyuri, right? Not sure that's much of an improvement!

True. But they could always come down here. If they can afford her Rin is quite talented at healing magic. And I have a new kitsune that claims to specialize in such things. Hopefully she's somewhat better at it than my first kitsune.

Well, there are several options in my group:

- Aya is actually good at healing magic. Her main issue is that she's weak. On her own, she can't heal anything that time wouldn't, but give her a good magical power source to drain off of and she can do wonders.

- Yuki would also be good at healing magic. The main problem there is keeping her attention span long enough to do so.

- Saber, Caitlin and Phyla are like Nanoha in that they are primarily battle mages. They can do a bit of self-healing, but their abilities to help others are more of the triage-type.

- Zoe would be the lottery. She has no control, so she could end up doing instant, full healing or creating a several mile wide crater where the patient used to be...or anything in between.

- M definitely could help. The only problem is motivating her. She might heal your body but take your soul to do so.

as u can see healing magic in our house doesn't work in our house. Before mo-mo lost her leg sasara lost hers and Asa's arm falls off at the slightest touch. i need to get Asa some cloths and a wig, kinda want to make her a kitsune like our idol kitsune lol. what do you guys think?

You might have to worry that the staff has reported you to the authorities for possible domestic abuse. However, probably not...I don't think Rinrin or Aya either one are big on filing paperwork. Just be glad that I didn't do the bit that I had considered with Zoe being the receptionist from hell. She would've reported you just to get you thrown in jail.
