Suzuna Kuraki (looking for suggestions!)

Ahh, Suzuna. My first love! I've been dreaming of creating her since back when I very first saw Mirai, but only recently have the sculpts and eye styles become something I can imagine for her. As such, I'd like to begin work, one tiny step at a time!

 

For her eyes, I prefer the images where she leans more towards a gold-orange than the yellowy color. I bought her an L-bust, but if Peach Pai ever comes out with a bust size inbetween the two they have right now, I am probably sold! I'll be editing this post as I go on with the ideas I already have, but wanted to get the images up for others to look at.

I got eyes and a DD03 head from Volks (which will be getting an eyeshape mod). Hikaru can't do the faceup until November, but other than getting a body and costume she's basically complete! Thanks everyone! Any eyes in an art style more closely resembling Carnelian's that are gold - please tell me!

That wig color is PERFECT! If only the hair didn't go so far back... I need to cut her side fringe after all. I will keep a very close eye on that site for more wigs. They do have a himecut wig, so if they offer it in that color ever I will snatch it up instantly. Thank you so much! Those eyes are lovely, too!

Haha, I spend a lot of time looking at wigs too. I think there's one I am going to buy from Dollheart, I started browsing after I found the purple one. ^^;

You guys are the best! That wig will be absolutely perfect. I'm excited to get my first piece to start making her.

If you are looking for really, really golden eyes that are slightly less orange (though the cool cats ones are very nice!) you might want to check Yahoo Japan. I got a pair of purely gold eyes there, and I have seen a LOT of golden pairs. There are no gold ones up right now, but if you wait a few days I am sure some will pop up. ^^

My dream eyes would be gold with an orange sheen, like Suzuna's been in Carnelian's most recent art. If I'm fantasizing, they'd be like Saber Lily's... except gold. I am keeping an eye out on yahoo auctions, so hopefully I get lucky.

 

 

I know taking the eyes from the new artwork and the hair from the old is a bit odd, but I figure it's open to interpretation a bit.

You could always get custom eyes done too! I remember that someone on figure.fm got beautiful custom eyes to perfectly match a character design, but sadly I don't remember their name. ^^;

Custom eyes... I didn't even think of it! I will have to lurk around figure.fm and see if I can find the person you're talking about.

Wow! Those look great. I have the round type A ones in red. I got them with a head I bought off of YJA. They are really nice.

Thank you everyone. Items have been purchased and she'll be ready in November sometime. I can't wait! I'll still be on the lookout for cohullent or silver8eight to post some golden eyes, but other than that I'll be okay with the ones I ordered from Volks for starters.
