BishoujoHeroine Posted September 17, 2012 (edited) Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum and fairly new to the world of Dollfies. I fell in love with them when I first saw Mio, but unfortunately did not have the funds at the time. Recently, I was able to adopt her and am so happy. But I'm just so afraid of staining or damaging her. Hopefully I will be more confident as time goes on. Somehow, I find myself waiting for my second girl to arrive. When I saw the latest Saber Alter announced by Volks, I decided to play through Fate/Stay Night and pre-ordered after finishing the game. I am eagerly awaiting the e-mail notifying me that I can pick her up. I look forward to meeting everyone and being part of this wonderful forum. cubester Posted September 17, 2012 Welcome to the forum! I'm happy to hear you managed to adopt your favorite girl after all. Now be sure to take great care of her. And don't worry, I'm sure you're not the only person who is really worried of damaging/staining their girls. (I'm super careful with everything I do around my girl too ) Anyway, I hope you won't have to wait too long to pick up Mio's new sister.
baldylox Posted September 17, 2012 Welcome aboard! Good to hear you were able to get your Mio right away. Same with Saber, I hope she arrives soon. As for being afraid to get them dirty or damage them, don't worry so much. Most dirt around the house is easily cleaned off with a damp sponge or towel. If not,the Magic Erasers are excellent at cleaning their vinyl skin. I used to be super paranoid about having them outside too but after a few small incidents here and there and finding out stains can be removed fairly easily, I grew accustomed to taking them out and about. Besides, your DD isn't truly yours till she's gotten at least one stain on her. Billy I gave up counting the girls I own, they keep multiplying and won't stop. BishoujoHeroine Posted September 18, 2012 Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! Most dirt around the house is easily cleaned off with a damp sponge or towel. If not,the Magic Erasers are excellent at cleaning their vinyl skin. Billy I'll definitely have to look into those magic erasers you mentioned. I did a quick Google search and found that they are under the Mr. Clean brand. Am I looking at the right product? Just making sure so I don't buy some sort of heavy duty cleaning product that ends up scratching Mio. Thanks! Random note: I am not sure why the subject name of this thread is called "bleep" when I named it something else. Not that I was trying to use a bad word, I wrote hajimemashite... Maybe write it with spaces in between or asterisks?
BishoujoHeroine Posted September 19, 2012 It worked! Thanks for the tip about adding spaces. I think the system was picking up on the "shi te" part and thinking I had a foul mouth.
