Wednesday Horrors, Episode 2: Unwell

Every Wednesday from now until Halloween (so, there will be 8 episodes in all), I will be posting a photostory in the series called Wednesday Horrors, which will come to its conclusion on the Wednesday of Halloween.

Episode 2: Unwell

 

 

Today we find Pidge fretting over a slew of sick Neemos.

No one is quite sure what's going on...

but there seems to be a flu that has hit the Neemo community hard.

 

Pidge: Oh, you guys, are you sure you're comfortable?

Does anyone need more tea? Snacks? Blankets?!

 

 

Anna: Calm down, Pidge *coughcough*

It's just a little *cough* flu, we'll be fine.

 

 

Bunny: *cough* Yes, don't worry, Pidge, it's the flu.

Kana: *coughsnifflecough* I feel dizzy @_@

Bunny: It's the plot of this show, it's very *cough* confusing.

 

 

On the screen, Pretty Little Liars plays, but most of the Neemos

are only vaguely aware that the TV is even on. It's mostly there

to comfort Pidge, she loves this show (even though it makes her nervous).

 

 

Carrot: *her voice is barely a whisper* Pidge... I... I don't feel very good.

 

 

Pidge: Oh! Little Carrot... you don't look so good!

You're so pale! I'm going to find help!

 

 

Alna: Did I hear somebody call for help? I have arrived!!

 

 

Pidge: *hops off the couch and runs over to Alna* Oh Alna!

Alna: What is it?! You're even more nervous than usual!

Pidge: It's the Neemos, they're all sick... and Carrot looks REALLY bad!

Alna: That's not good... weren't they fine yesterday?

Pidge: Yes, it came on all of a sudden. ;_;

 

 

*Alna and Pidge go over to check on Carrot*

Alna: Oh, little Carrot, you look terrible... and Luna! You look so pale!

Luna: Oh no, I'm always pale.

Anna: It's true *cough*, she is... but Carrot looks *coughcough* a little pale. Will she be ok?

Alna: *places a hand on Carrot's forehead* Oh! She's burning up!

 

 

*At the other end of the couch*

Bunny: Will Carrot be ok, Jun?

Jun: *pats Bunny's head* It's just a little flu, sweetie...

I'm sure she'll be up and running in no time.

 

 

*Suddenly, though, Carrot starts wildly thrashing about*

Pidge: OH NO! What's happening?

Anna: Carrot? CARROT! Something is wrong!!!

Luna: This is NOT Nargels.

Alna: HOLD HER DOWN!

 

 

*As quickly as the thrashing begins, before anyone can even

move to react, it stops. Carrot is still, and the room is silent,

except for the quiet murmuring of characters on TV*

Alna: *whispers* Carrot?

 

 

Jun: Oh my goodness... is she ok? Did she have a seizure?!

 

 

Alna: Carrot?

 

 

Pidge: Alna... what is it? Why isn't she moving?!

 

 

Alna: *touches her hand to Carrot's forehead* Because... because she's dead.

NOOO!!!! Don't diiiiie!!!

 

What about the others?! They can't ALL die... can they?! >____________<

I'm so sad now.

OOHHH not Carrot! Oh man, this is getting very worrisome! I like the gloomy dark atmosphere of the pictures.

 

Off topic, but I am in love with Jun's hair. Maybe its my own unruly hair, but I can't resist bedhead messy hair!

Well... Ghost Girl can't die, she's already dead.

Thanks! I did the dark photo thing on purpose... they were actually even darker when I started, but I thought it might be too much... and yes... it is worrisome, I don't like all those other coughing Neemos.

(and I totally agree about the wig... she looks SO cute in it!!!!)

I do have to say that Pidge is adorable with all her worrying over the Neemo girls. And Alna steps in LIKE A BOSS. I love that look she's in.... very impressive.

Awww, poor little sick and dying neemos. I think you need a kitsune and a source of scorpions..... no wait, that's probably not going to work. Is it possible Airy is now shipping things more dangerous than blood thirsty killer hamsters? Scary!

 

I do have one question though. Are foreheads vital testing points to determine the liveliness of neemos? I didn't know that.

Wow! Look! A vampire did show up. I still don't know if he is the アーカード (Alucard) type of vampire though.

Hmm, I think we've established he's not the hunky teen-idol type at least. Would that rule out being Alucard like?

Alucard is awesome and can turn into a dog covered in eyes. Those teen idol vampires can't even compare to him. scripple has a fluffy dog. I think that is close enough.

Uh oh, this isn't looking to good for the gang. I wonder if the DD girls can catch it too or is it those little voodoo dolls? Where did they go anyway? So many questions.

 

I love the effects. Nice job. Alna is stylish as always. I really like Jun too.

Ah! Those little dolls are evil! Didn't you get them from scripple? And he's a vampire now? I thought I heard he wasn't, but I think a kitsune told me that... Definitely a bad situation, all around...

 

Alna looks totally awesome in that outfit! A swashbuckling heroine to save the day, and apparently take Neemo pulses on their foreheads...

I'm still curious as to what the things that did this look like.

Airy does have a penchant for shipping mysterious packages... so it could be. I have no idea, the package was a mystery.

 

And Alna wasn't really checking her vitals, she was just touching her forehead... sorry that was unclear... I mean... they're dolls, they don't exactly have pulses in the first place. XD

If you look carefully, the voodoo dolls are actually there, in the pictures with the Neemos XD Very subtle evil... and no, it's not looking good for them... and that's a terrifying question... CAN the DD girls catch it?!

 

Alna and Jun say thank you... but Alna says it jumping up and down and running around and screaming about how people like her outfit, while Jun just gives a nod, smiles and blushes a little... oh... they are *not* the same kind of girl at all. XD

Alna thanks you for the compliments on her outfit, but wants you to know she wasn't taking Carrot's pulse, she was just touching her forehead... evidently dolls don't have pulses... so who knows how they tell when they're dead. Perhaps that means there's a chance she could be wrong?

You can see them (they are tiny) in the pictures with the Pure Neemos in them... they are all holding one.

Whoa, you went dark on this one! Poor Carrot.

 

Love the lighting by the way! The high contrast really reinforces the mood.

Yes, clearly they couldn't have come from me. I'm notorious for never sending stuff out after all. The only one who sends packages around here is Sakura, and I'm sure she wouldn't send cursed little dolls to the neemos.

Littlebearries- I really love seeing so many Neemos and the episodic spooky story is a neat idea! So many little cuties that I don't know if I could pick a favorite to root for.

I love how protective/overprotective the DD on our forum are towards each other and their friends. It's just too adorable! Similarly I'm not letting Tamayuki see this thread because he would worry himself sick over the Neemos.
