I love this episode! I think you should have at least tried the soup a little, though. Asuka is so adorable. I just want to hug her and tell her that she is awesome for trying!

Well I think Asuka approaches a lot of things with the sledgehammer mentality. But I agree it was nice of her to try. And yes we had a pleasant meal out.

I suppose I could have tried it, but I think she likes the fact that I'm not quite as acquiescent as many of the guys she's dealt with in the past. But I agree she was completely adorable in her attempt.

 

As for the hot plate I made it by grabbing some burner element and knob photos and printing them on paper that I simply wrapped around cardboard.

As for the hot plate I'm sure poor Sakura had quite the mess to cleanup. (Because if you follow my group you know that she's the poor girl who'd actually ended up having to clean up the mess, not Rin.)

Love the outfit. Also, she's being so sweet! Tsundere really are the best sometimes. Plus, it's almost always for the best when the cooking projects go so badly that even they realize it's inedible. Saves a lot of suffering that way.

Totally agree on the cooking part. Completely destroyed beats won't kill you so you have to choke it down any day!

Asuka looks fantastic! That is so adorable! It must be hard to be a guy. It seems like it is too easy to get in trouble. I don't think cooking lessons would work on her. I am not even sure she would accept the concept of herself taking lessons even if she admitted the soup wasn't too great.

Thanks on Asuka. I think you're right she wouldn't accept lessons, especially since Rin is already a great cook and accepting lessons would be like admitting weakness in front of her. As for being a guy, around this place it turns out it's pretty easy to get into trouble regardless of who you are.
