Yoko and Saber.... swingers?

A few months ago, my Mom found me the most awesome thing ever at a thrift store...... a DD sized swing! It was in sad shape tho as it had marker drawings all over it, names drawn on, TicTacToe on the bottom and many other issues. But I decided to try and fix it up to see if I could use it.

 

I took an orbital sander to it for about 30 minutes and got off most of the crap. Then I had to hand sand it to get off stuff down in hard to reach areas. After I had it to bare wood, my plans for painting it white got tossed out the window because I like the look of bare wood much better.

 

So here are the results of my work! Please enjoy!

The top of the swing used to go all the way across but I cut it off on both ends and then sanded it down so the girls heads had plenty of room.

Nice swing hehehe. You gotta love those thrift shops, there's lots of 'treasures' you can find there if you look hard enough. And Saber and her Master are so sweet.

Heh..... It seems that Yoko has quite the touch for taming the occasional itinerant despot.......

But, then again, sometimes the simplest things can soothe any temper......

Aww, they're so sweet together! Yoko seems to have tamed Saber's more... aggressive tendencies. And Saber's dress is just lovely on her!

Well wasn't this just saccharine sweet. Very cute little story and some great shots. I really liked Saber's dress and Yoko's expression is perfect for this kind of happy care free story.

Thanks! Saber is quite the handful but Yoko knows how to keep her in line. Saber's dress actually came with my Sango, I think it's from Alices Collections. Yoko's dress is also from AC. Here's a shot of Sango wearing it when she first arrived.....

Thank you sir. I got those stockings as close to straight as I could but they kept moving on me and I finally gave up. It was still a good shot to me so I kept it. You'll just have to deal with it for now. LOL

Thanks! Yup, Mom is a whiz for sure, I have no idea how she does it because every time I've ever hit a thrift store, I see ZILTCH.

 

As for Yoko's dress, it's from Alices Collections. I got it a long time ago and had Rei wear it once for me. And for some reason, I never posted pics of her wearing it. Here she is in it.....

It works well on her as well as Yoko. I'm still amazed it fits the M-bust and the DDdy bust and still looks good on both of them.

Yoko isn't above getting loud when she wants something. I agree that these two by themselves makes for a more peaceful scene. The snark is alive and well but held at bay by Yoko's everpresent charm. Thanks about the swing!

Thank you very much! I'm glad people think the title was fun and misleading because it was meant to be. I'm thinking I may adjust this swing a little so it sits up higher off the ground but I'm not sure when I'll get around to actually doing it.
