Meet Kanami - My third girl

This post has been a long time coming. Many months ago I received my limited Dollfie Dream 06 head. She was my first “floating head”. However, due to a fund shortage and the body shortage, I was not able to complete here till now.

 

I want to thank Mitsuki for all her help in making this girl a reality and to Nekopon for selling me the body.

 

Finally, after nearly six months, she is complete. So I’d like to introduce Kanami, my third Dollfie Dream.

 

 

 

Kanami is a fun-loving girl that is full of energy. She’s a bit of a firecracker and sometimes speaks her mind. She loves to do things her own way and carve her own path, sometimes making rash decisions. She has the best intentions at heart and only wants to do the right thing, but she can’t help to follow her instincts and do it her own way. She can be a bit of a tease, but it’s all in “good fun”.

 

 

 

 

With her striking red Natsuki wig and DDdy body, her character nearly “popped” out at me. She has an attitude all here own. Her name, however, took a while. XD

 

 

 

Her weapon of choice is a machine gun. Fast and wild — sort of like herself.

 

Her eyes are likely temporary, but they suit her for now.

She's lovely! The 06 and DDdy are a really good combo, a nice mix of cute and sexy. ^^ Natsuki's wig is so perfect for her personality!

Seriously tho, she's gorgeous! Great choice of wig and eyes! Her hair is just amazing and bright, I really like that. And like others have said, it seems the 06 head and Dddy body is just an awesome combo, they work so nicely together. Her outfit is also really great, that style of top is cool as heck.

 

Congrats again for finally being able to bring Kanami home! Love that name too...... altho it sounds oddly familiar for some reason.....

Thank you! (again) I think she came together pretty well. Having a DDdy now is pretty neat. I like having the variety of body types. She certainly stands out next to the others. Yeah, when I saw that top I had to get it. It completed her look. I'll have to see what else I can find for her.

 

Haha, the name was actually the hardest part to come up with. I wanted a "K" name for some reason and went through many different ones. This one just seemed to work. I didn't realize the similarity till afterward. They do have some traits in common, though.

Thanks! The wig is great. I saw it on an 06 a while ago and really liked how it looked. Mitsuki was a great help with that.

Hehe, yeah, I think I've set myself up for some interesting events. The wig is really nice. I was worried it was going to be more orange than red, but I like how it looks in person. It's kinda a red-orange. It looks more red in the photos.

Congrats! She's really pretty. I absolutely love her hair, not many could pull off that shade, but it looks terrific on her. It helps her eyes stand out, nicely, too. Looks like she was certainly worth the wait.

She's so lovely! My first impression of that 06 head was the nose looked really "low" on the face. I don't know, it just struck me as off, but seeing her here with full make-up, eyes and wig, she is actually very pretty! I'm sorry I doubted you H06!

I still think Chihaya is a good candidate for a decent boy sculpt. Thankfully not one I need at the moment since I'm drowning in my DD to do list anyway. I'm really interested to see what owners do with her, that face has a lot of potential!
