Yoko and Sara's Flower Journey

I took Yoko and Sara with me to Tsubasacon, which didn't turn out like I had hoped. :-/

 

But out in front where the con was being held was this really great spot to FINALLY get some pictures of the girls with some flowers. So YAY for that!! XD

 

I also managed to get a few pics of the girls outside my house when I got home too.

 

I'm pretty excited and happy to be able to provide some outdoor pics of the girls. It was really nice for a change and I'm happy with how they turned out.

Hee hee thank you! I couldn't let them take their first car ride without buckling them in. I believe they got to enjoy it better that way.

 

I'm happy you enjoyed the pictures! I was soooo happy that those flowers were still around. That's a shame the flowers are already done where you live. I say probably here soon ours will be done for the season too.

 

I did have a good time with the girls. Just wish I could have gotten some pictures of them taking part in the actual con, but just didn't work out. Way too many people and little space to do any pics inside. But honestly I'm extremely happy with these pictures and love how they turned out. Makes me happy to see my girls getting to enjoy being outside. ^_^

Ah Yoko & Sara looks so beautiful in their outfits And yeah it's really hard to take pictures inside a con with all the traffic of people going in and out. When I took Momoko to Anime Expo I had to find empty corners or an empty seat next to me in a panel in order to take a picture of her. I got a lot more pictures of her outside the con at the DD meet I put together at a hotel nearby :3 Though after the Danny Choo Panel a small group of us were hanging out in the lobby so that was pretty fun and where I snapped this cute picture of Momoko with a bag of skittles that a random person handed to me

If I go again next year I will try that, thanks for all the tips you did with Momoko when you went to your con. I really wish so bad I could have met other doll owners. I think that would have made it even more fun. Maybe one of these days I can meet up with another DD owner. ^_^

Thank you so very much! I'm glad you enjoyed getting to see the girls out and about with the flowers too. It's something I have been wanting to do for a long time so it felt great finally getting these pictures.

 

Yes I agree that Sara seemed way happier to be outside and getting see so many new things. I love her in that kitty set, it was so made for her. And I'm glad you like my Yoko in that maid set. Your girls always wear it so well, so I was hoping that Yoko could pull off wearing it just as well.

Too bad your trip didn't go quite as planned, but you still got lots of cute photos of it so still good in the end i hope. I think Sara's outfit fits her very well as the big ears really enhance her happy / perky look.

Those are such beautiful photos! The colors are lovely! Sara looks so cute in that outfit. It goes so well with her hair color and light skin. Yoko in crimson tones is the natural choice. It's too bad you couldn't take more photos of them participating in the fun of the con.

Next con you go to you should post a thread here/Figure.Fm/DoA (if you're on there) to try and get a meet going. There were no local meets before I started organizing them myself and now I get to see lovely local DD friends almost every month Even if it isn't DD owners, it's also nice hanging out with those who have other kinds of dolls as well! I've been to two meets where it was pretty much all resin dolls and everyone was super nice :3

 

And oh gosh you know I love seeing your girls especially Sara! And Yoko is icing on the cake since she is just so awesome

Surprising enough I did post a thread on here, the site for the con, and another doll site and I didn't get anyone at all. :-/ I guess there really isn't any doll owners around here. I ran into a few people at the con who were excited to see the girls. But I didn't run into anyone who actually owned any DD's or even other types of dolls. Oh well maybe I will have better luck next year. ^_^
