Hannah's first photos

Since the custom seems to be to post to both sites, I'll continue the trend. Here are a few photos of my Hannah in her first photo shoot.

Thank you, I'm very happy with the name as well. It just seems to suit her, at least to me.

 

Now I'll tell you a story to make your wait not so bad. Hannah is actually my second Yuki in a way. I bought the first one and the USPS managed to somehow lose it sometime between it coming off the plane from Japan and before it entered customs.

 

Of course the awesome world postal system works such that only the shipper can request a trace or file a claim. I had a hard time getting the seller to answer me to file the claim, that was stressful. It turns out they did start the paperwork when I first asked, they just didn't bother to tell me for several days. Anyway, after like 20-30 days the investigation was completed and they confirmed it was lost. Only then the insurance claim process gets to start. Then another 60+ days later they finally gave the seller a refund. It's now in the process of finally making it to my bank account. Very, very annoying.

 

It was so frustrating sitting there watching the tracking updates not progress on a very valuable EMS package, having the USPS say can't help you has to start from the other end, and having the seller not communicate well. Arggh!

 

Anyway, while watching the package not progress for over a week I came across a great deal on a second Yuki so I went ahead and grabbed her, assuming that the first one wasn't going to show up. I'm glad I did as obviously the first one was lost.

 

In the end I got Yuki for a lot less total, but had to put up with a lot of stress and hassle. I think I would have preferred the first one had just arrived smoothly, but oh well.

 

Hopefully your wait is a little more pleasant.

Oh my. O_O That is awful! I would freak out if I lost a Dollfie in the mail. ;~; My wait is much more pleasant, I have both Yuki and Rina on layaway, it's just a looong time until I will have them. For now I will droll over your beautiful pictures of Hannah!

Anyways, great shots of Hannah sir! She's quite lovely and the lighting and angles you used are just amazing. She really seems to jump out at you when you see these. And I'm still going to say you did so well choosing this wig for her.... it suits her perfectly.

Thanks. I was very happy I snatched up this outfit on YJA. I like some of these hand made one off dresses available on there.

Thank you. I was very pleased with how that one turned out as well. For me it's one of my best photos to date.

I'm glad your case was settled. Thanks for sharing that story with us. I wouldn't want it to happen to my Yuki when I decide to adopt her. Still saving~

The people in Japan were pretty convinced that's what happened, especially with the high declared value on the customs form. I can't say I blame them for holding that opinion as it's a really large box to just accidentally misplace. Ah well, it's done now.

Nope, it's a standard DD M Bust body. I'll avoid telling her that her breasts look small wearing that dress though as I like how it looks on her and want her to wear it again.

Yuki's definitely a cutie. I'm glad I got her even though I don't know her character.
