Huh. I wonder if they displayed her at the Akiba store. Didn't see her at Tachikawa yesterday. But they had other stuff going on at Akiba and nowhere else (like showing some one-off dolls), so it makes sense.

I'm always so relieved when there's a DD I know I'm not interested in.... a break for the wallet! I though she'd look more like an 04/Yoko though, her eyes are pretty big.

I really like her outfit it's perfect but the face... but I love the outfit ^^

If it's a prototype for a doll scheduled for 2013, it might be some random head, even 06 or some previous limited.

Looks like a prototype to show off the outfit. They have done this before, I fail to remember which doll it was. They are not going to show you all the goods now, its just a teaser. The art of trolling, volks is doing it well

 

Even if that is the head mold, it may be the first try and unfinished. Rina and yuki's face were tweaked at the end of the pre-orders and looked different and more appealing than the first pictures released.

 

Not familiar with her, but Asuna has a pretty character design that would look good as default or changed up. Can't wait to see the end result.

Well, I'm looking forward to seeing how she looks finished and up close! I wonder how long it will be til there's more news.

 

But I must say...it would be cool if there was a Kirito DD.

Het outfit is interesting. I may have to try and get a hold of her sword, I think Saber would like nice holding it.

 

Not a fan of the series but I'm still excited to see her finished. and I agree with the others, that looks like the head of another doll. Probably Haruka.

I would love to have the outfit and sword if nothing else.

Sword Art Online is a really good anime. If you'd watch it, you'd be sure to want it! It's a very nice (romantic) story, very well animated with a lot of very nice & tender scenes, that help build the characters. Asuna is mega-cute, yet very strong and kind. This will sell like crazy. Do yourself a favor and go watch it!

 

Also, I wouldn't be surprised if, for a change, Volks would do a MALE Dollfie Dream of Kirito. Kirito and Asuna go together, after all. He's the perfect protagonist.

Haven't read them yet, but I've seen the anime so far- you can watch it on Crunchyroll.

I do like how they handled the romance in the series, Asuna is a pretty strong and believable female lead. I just hope she becomes even more empowered as the story advances. And yeah, that costume is pretty tempting on its own. Somehow Volks knows my weakness for girls in armor

 

And I doubt we'll get Kirito as a DD, he's not nearly as popular as Asuna. We got all the Eva girls and no Shinji, after all.

am I the only one that hopes there's at least a Silica MDD or something? She was so cute! Just started watching the series on crunchyroll - kind of liking the take on MMORPGs better than .hack//sign.

We don't even know, if it's the actual head or one of the earlier models just to show the outfit.

It's way too early to predict the final version or the sales system.

There's a huge difference there... NO ONE likes Shinji.
