Yeah, she didn't really get enough time on screen in 2.0 to get a deep look at her personality, but after seeing 3.0 she's really grown on me too. Though Asuka's always going to be first in my heart .

I would LOVE to get the Asuna Dollfie Dream! But I want to see her face sculpt first to see how adorable it is, haha!

I'm not sure how popular an S2 of SAO would be. The next two books in the series cover the next game Kirito goes into and most of the other characters we know don't even play major roles. Asuna is barely in it, and Kirito's avatar looks like a girl. XD

I haven't read the books, though it still sounds interesting to me.

 

However, animes don't always follow the manga/light novels. Perhaps they have something else in mind.

They've followed the books pretty faithfully so far, which is probably why the story has been so cohesive. When anime starts blazing it's own path for the story, that's when things tend to go awry...
