I can't read Japanese so I can't tell if these are real curry packets or 1:3 scale packets (especially since Moe is holding 2 tiny boxes. Either way, the picture is really cute!

Good grief those headphones are LOUD colors! Good thing I already have the Mio brown versions of that.

 

The curry looks neat but I dunno about getting them. Maybe if they had DD Ramen Bowls, those would be cool.

I think the colors are the theme colors for the DD Blog page, but they are a bit too striking. I like the old headphone colors better.

 

The curry might be offered to actually eat at Dolpa 24. My friend says that somewhere in the text she can make out "500 yen per person" or something like that and a statement that the curry has special spices and is delicious.

Yep, I agree that those colors do look like the main page setup. Good eye!

 

And curry to eat at the meet? Now that's actually a cool idea. I wonder if you get to keep the box/packet that your DD curry comes in?

Looks like curry wars are a-brewin' between Volks and Good Smile. Good Smile actually has a restaurant in their building in Tokyo that is known for Indonesian-influenced curries. I wonder if this will show up in Torrance? Probably not: this sounds like a Dollpa thing, akin to those bentos they sell at Dollpas.

 

As for myself my curry of choice is S&B Golden Curry Extra Hot. The first curry roux that I don't have to doctor up for it to taste good. It's got a proper, formidable, amount of spice. I'm from LA. I like my food spicy.

Ah nice one Mitsuki! That's great that you found those pics! Altho I am looking at them on my work computer, I'm thinking that last picture can be printed up on some thick paper stock or photopaper to make our own boxes? That'll be fun!

Yumi looks yummy in that outfit! The low rise jeans are quite nice and her showing off some tummy is too cute. All that combined with my weakness for blue haired anime girls makes her a winner for sure!

Well, I tried 3 times to print these out and no matter what i try, they either come out all grainy looking or are too small or too large. What size did you print yours at Mitsuki? And which picture did you use? I tried the large one on Flickr and its way too big and grainy. I suck at this....

It hope they print out nicely for you, Ms Geek. They aren't high resolution, but they look so cute as tiny 3-inch tall boxes.

Hey Mitsuki, I got the ones you sent me to print up just fine! I have them on photo paper drying as I write this. I printed them on regular paper first to check for size and they worked well but the paper is just flimsy. So when they came out on the photo paper, they are much thicker and will be perfect when folded into boxes. I think I am going to make 2 more of these and give them to my sister so Tsubaki will have noms she is used to over there!
