Dolpa 28 - December 16, 2012

Meh. I'm kinda disappointed by both the selection of clothes for Dolpa 28 and by Aozaki Aoko herself. Maybe my problem with Aoko is that she looks too much like the DDH-07, but with less good of makeup compared to the DDH-07 pre-paint version. The best part of Aoko to me is her boots.

 

However, I really like Melty. A lot. Of course, I've always wanted an official pointed ear head from Volks. But I also like her outfit (minus that pink witch hat).

I dont like so much Melty and Aoko's faces, and the outfits for the dollpa, so, I'm safe!

The only thing I'll love to have, is Melty's outfit (hat, plushie and the ice cream included) hehe

Now, I've to wait to see KOSMOS ^^

So excited for this Dolpa. Aoko is amazing. Not into Melty at all, but she is cute. I love the outfits as well!!!!

Aoko is a must-get for me. I've run out of room though . . . Time to buy a bigger house?

I like the new fists they will be great for my sailor Jupiter! Both girls are cute I'm pretty happy with my heads on the way though. Melty is really cute though....

Aoko looks like a Lily/Rin cross to me. She's pretty, and I like her outfit, but I think she's too close to Lily to warrant me picking her up. I might have to pick up her wig and outfits.

I don't know the character at all, but OMG those ears! She's the first Shining character that I HAVE to have! I might have to get an extra head for a custom. *hears choking sounds from wallet-sama*

They've got more realistic sculpts. So less "doll-like."

Gotta wait until the Dolpa After Event, which is typically a few weeks after the actual Dolpa. The Dolpa itself is December 16th, so don't expect to be able to enter for these until towards the end of December or early January.

 

The Japan site usually gets less than a day for the Dolpa After Event lottery. The international site gets over a weekend typically.

I *LOVE* the idea of demon/elf ears... but I'm not sure about Melty's face sculpt... I need more pictures of her... MORE!

I think I'm jumping on the Melty ship... though I would love to see more pictures of her face, too.. Honestly.. the ears are so full of win, I honestly can't help myself.

I've never played Etna's game so I have no attatchment to her character. she looks cute, but kinda small though. I bet Volks would have put her on an mdd body so I wouldn't be at all interested.

She's actually reasonably tall for the game, so she'd have fit a DDS well. But she is from a 2003 game, so that might be why you've not seen her.

 

Part of the reason I feel old with this dolpa is that before the announcement I'd not heard of Melty at all. And when I first saw her I felt she looked like Etna in a weird way. But I'm glad there are people who like her.
