Posing is nice sure, but there are plenty of Images where dollfie dreams are posed completely unrealistically and it just looks daft, totally ruins the image. Just because a doll CAN bend that way, doesn't mean that it should or that it looks good. I think there are great reasons for being poseable, but there are also great perks to having something seamless, natural and elegant looking too.

 

I don't know about anyone else, but I think for me, it helps that I don't have one of these bodies yet to see how much these dolls are limited in posing ability. Maybe it's not so bad. I just know I get no advantage of them, since every single outfit I own at the moment has that area completely covered.

 

For Melty, she does have her outfit top like you mention, but the torso joint would probably be barely visible if at all. At least from the Volks News 51 pictures, the ribbons holding the middle of that top together seems to cover most of it.

Aoko is doing the same to me >.< ! it's gonna be hard waiting for almost two months

I loved Melty's ears, makes me want her for a custom project.

 

Aoko is giving me a hard time. Sometimes I look to her and she says " I am perfect for you!". In others she says "save and get yours unicorns...."

 

And there is KOS-MOS.... so many decisions!

I still can't believe they made such a pretty Creamy Mami, though. Despite her costing an arm and a leg, or two, I don't think I'll be able to pass up trying for her.

I just wanted to point out that the Creamy Mami dolls are actually SD (They are on a SDGr body to be precise), not DD. ^^;

The danger is still there, but an entirely different doll.

And good news for those who want a carrying case that isn't tweed! 3 new colors/designs and it's good to see that the black one is lined in white on the inside, good job Volks! If you look at the larger size of this picture the design of the 2nd & 3rd bag has a diamond pattern, do like

Considering Volks Japan seems to be out of the tweed cases, looking forward to these new ones. All I have is one of the violin cases, and considering there's multiple dolls in the house... Doesn't work well if you want to take more than 1 somewhere. Having choices is good!

I rather like the black one. It looks comfortable, both for me and the girl. It would be a lot more comfy for Yuriko than having o ride in my messenger bag with her legs folded up and her head bowed down. I'm sure she must get some pretty bad cramps after a while.

I like dark colors in general, so I'd probably go for one of the black ones. But all of them work for me. They're not hot pink or school bus yellow, which I absolutely would not buy.

Wow, Aoko and Melty are both so pretty, I have not felt this excited in a while about a DD release. I would love to have both girls be mages for my Saber twins and Maxima. I am not familiar with the characters, but I do love that they both come from a magical background. Melty's pointy ears are so adorable and Aoko looks beautiful with her blue eyes. Decisions, decisions!

The first two are limited editions in Japan while only the black diamond one will be a standard release. I really want the brown/plum diamond one! >___<

Melty or Aoko! Why must volks do this to me?! D: I still can't decide on one of them to adopt. I love everything about them both, and Melty's ears! Ohmigosh! Elf eared girl at last, eh? Whom do we think is going to have the higher markup on the secondhand scene? I'm personally betting Melty, because of all her stuff. But Type-Moon girls don't go cheap either. I guess it will all be a matter of demand.
