Iceland (Hetalia) Cosplay

Hi, I hope this is the right place to post it, if not please let me know, or feel free to have a mod move it.

 

I recently finished sewing up a costume of Iceland from Hetalia, for my boy DD hybrid to wear.

You can tell on the close up that the bow is fraying... well I didn't put too much effort into fixing the frays of the bow out of laziness, but if it gets too bad, I will redo the bow.

 

The shoulder part of the sleeves is a bit tight when posing the arms, because I did not have any pattern, and had to guesstimate everything, but I'm alright with it since I don't play rough with him. @_@

 

Also, I apologize that I really only have my iPhone's camera on me, so the pictures tend to be grainy and an orange/red tint.

 

Actually, I did make him(Iceland) in 3D before, though it's a bit off-topic, it shows the reference of outfit.

I did not make the shoes, but I bought them and cut off the belt that was over the laces(which left a mark on the sides, but it doesn't show on the photos).

 

I have a puffin plushie, but it's too big to be his pet. He can hug it, though.

Ooohhh... a boy DD. What body is he using? What head? Can you post clearer pictures as I want to see more of his awesomeness. Sister Kyoya is gonna love seeing him. Maybe he can even join the Boys Club on the Off-topic forum. And you can post pics of him in the On topic sections since he is still falls under DD as he has a DD head.

Oh cool, didn't know there was a boys club.

 

Unfortunately, unless my dad decides to use his awesome camera, this is the best clarity I can get with my phone.

 

He's using a Volks DD-06 head, which was modified from a closed-eye head and I cut the eyes partially to give it a lidded look. I chose the 06 head because I liked the mouth and nose sculpt. The 01 had the eye shape I liked, but the cheeks were too chibi/young style for me.

The body is a 45 cm Obitsu boy body.
