A Doll for Dollfies?

My great friend Salica recently asked me if i was interested in Azone 1/6th scaled dolls. I told her I had seen them in Japan and thought they were really adorable. She then made the excellent post seen here: http://www.figure.fm/post/en/26783/How+crazy+can+I+be.html

 

After seeing that, I was just in awe of those little 1/6 dolls!

 

A bit later, Salica told me she was going to sell a few of her little girls and I immediately asked about getting one from her. She made me a deal I could not pass up and I was able to adopt a new little girl from Salica. She arrived today so I decided to let my Yoko and Miyuki open her up.

 

Yoko and Miyuki were hanging out in the computer room when I got home today.

 

 

 

Hey you two, would you like a present?

 

Y - "Sure!"

 

M - "Oh yeah! Presents are good!"

 

 

Now you will have to share this with your sisters but I want you guys to open it up.

 

M- "Ok Papa. We can do that."

 

Y - "So what is it?"

 

Let me turn the box so you can see it better.

 

 

M- "AWWWW!! So cute!"

 

Y - "YAY! An adorable little doll!"

 

Go ahead and open her up!

 

 

Y - "She's too cute! Look at her hair bow!"

 

M - "I like her dress, I want one like that!"

 

 

 

Here Miyuki, can you open this up while Yoko gets Alice out of her box?

 

"Ok!"

 

 

Y - "I think I have her all unwrapped... are you ok Alice?"

 

A - "Yup! I'm good!"

 

Y - "WHOA! She talks! AWESOME!"

 

 

 

"Look! Salica sent us goodies! We got a bunny rabbit too!"

 

 

Y - "Look Papa, isn't she so pretty?"

 

I think she is Yoko.

 

A - "Thank you sir!"

 

 

Salica was so nice! She sent us 2 extra sets of hands and some plates, drink cups and even food! Alice will have her own little things to eat with her new friends! Thank you Salica!

 

 

A - "UP! UP!"

 

Y - "You want up?"

 

A - "Yeah!"

 

 

A - "Yay! Up"

 

Y - "Papa, please tell Salica she's awesome! Alice is super cool!"

 

 

M - "Man, she's so cute! I like her alot!"

 

A - "Yay! I like you too!"

 

 

Ok girls , what do you say?

 

"Thank you Salica! We love our little Alice!!"

 

 

 

 

So yes, new blood yet again. Just small blood.

Uh oh, now Salica has got you started in a whole new direction. Now you'll need to start hunting for 1/6 scale items in addition to 1/3 scale. You're in big trouble.

 

Maybe the new girl will be Rei's "normal" friend though. XD

Every seems to me tempting me to get a 1/6 now a days

but she does looks SOOO CUTEEEE!!!! AHAHHHHHHHHHHH

I do love Pure Neemo dolls XD I have one on Preorder from HLJ... but I never thought about them being dolls for dolls XD

Thanks! Well, in thinking about it since these are 1/6th scale, you'd be right about my count being 7.5 now.

 

Unfortunately, in about a week, it will up to 8.

Yes, I now have yet another enabler! I can't get rid of them! It's always something with my friends... Buy this! Buy that! You neeeed these! I guess I have to get a second job now to continue living as I am accustomed.

 

While Alice won't be Rei's "normal" friend as she acts a bit childlike, I think the new one will be just what Rei is looking for.

 

 

Galvatim - Thanks! I agree that seeing the PN with DD's is too funny. Revoltechs and Figmas look nice and all as mini Dollfies but this goes one better.

 

 

Otakusan - So sorry to add to your pain but just look at her! Adorable is an understatement! You know you want one....

 

 

Littlebearries - Congrats on the preorder! When are you expecting her? What kind did you order? And I didn't really think about this until I saw others ( like Chun from Figurefm ) doing these type things. So now I am trying it out to see what I think. I'm pretty sure I won't go into these like I have with the Dollfies but you never know!

For sure! I'm really waiting for my Azone Kuroneko and Marisa, because then 3 of my girls will have mini versions of themselves! I have the 1/8 Kiririn already, but by Kirino Dollfie is still just an unpainted head. ^^;
