Nelly19 Posted November 1, 2012 Ok am trying to shop for my doll i havent gotten as yet, am using cool cat for the reinforced joints, body suits and some other things I needed. But i need to know the exact shoe size of a dd, 1/3 isnt gonna work, what is the cm length so i know what inner shoe length to look for? Another question what size wig do these girls wear? And does any other owners have like advice on this particular body when it comes to clothes, shoes, wigs, styling care etc.? Amara77 Posted November 1, 2012 As far as wigs I know they typically wear 8-9 it does depend on the head I think the new Sabers have a little bit of a bigger head so they take a 9-10 both my girls wear 8-9 and depending on the wig I can get 7-8 on her. baldylox Posted November 1, 2012 Generally, DD feet wil work in the range of 7cm - 7.9 cm with 7cm being very tight and 7.9cm being a little loose unless you have thick socks on. Most DD's will use an 8-9 sized wig with some of the larger heads doing a 9.5 size. As for clothing, there are lots of places that sell DDdy sized clothes. Some of the most popular are Cool Cats, Alices Collections, Nightfall and of course Volks. There are also some sellers here in the forum marketplace like Hypercurve who make very nice clothes that will fit the DDdy too. I hope that helps you out. mitsuki Posted November 2, 2012 I think if you get a wig that is a little bigger, you can secure it better with wig stopper or a silicon wig cap. I think 8-9 inches is still best for most DDs. But if you find a wig you really want that is 9-10 that doesn't come in 8-9, you can still use it. It might sit on her head differently though. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
