I received my first card. ^_^

 

Thank you so very much LittleBearries!! I loved the card and the message from Alna!! Allison was super happy to get a message from one of her fellow *sisters*. =3

And I promise to get my cards out super soon. Work has been crazy for me having to switch back and forth from working over nights to super early mornings. But I will get them in the mail either Saturday or Monday, I promise no later than that.

Thank you very much! I will try my best to get some rest. This time of year is always rough on me since I work retail. This year in particular has been very rough so far. Between my wonky schedule and all the crazies that are crawling out from the woodwork. You would never believe half the stuff that has happened this week alone.

Just wanted to let everyone know that my cards won't be going out till Monday. This week was just extremely busy with work and class since next week is my final. And I also had to attend the funeral of a good friend & co-worker on Friday before going to work. So Thurs/Fri I got very little sleep and yeah I needed the rest. But I got everything done today so they just need to be mailed out, thanks for understanding

I just got my cards in the mail today.

 

I feel terrible for having such a delay in getting them out. Hopefully everyone will still get them in time. Work has really been kicking my butt, so that's why it took me longer to get them out.

 

Plus I got distracted by Miu's arrival.

Hmmmmm the only cards I've received is from LittleBearries, Baldylox, and Salica. And LB is the only one so far from the actual exchange.

I've only received one swap card which was from plasticFantastic. I sent her a card in return, same time I sent out all my actual swap partner cards. She received her card but it doesn't seem like anyone else has. Unless they just haven't told me about it or posted.

The only one I recieved so far is from shinegamix. I sent my cards on the 5th so they might not have gotten to the recipients yet. Most of my cards went to people in the States except for shinegamix' which I sent at the same time as everyone else's in my exchange list. Since I live in Canada there might not have been enough time for people's cards to get here unless they were sent really early on. so no worries. I do hope my cards get to their recipients though.

I'm sorry I've been so quiet in this thread. School was really kicking me in the teeth and have been getting about half as much sleep as I should have had to make up for it. I finally got all the cards finished tonight and will be mailing them tomorrow. We really had loads of fun making them and now have many empty sticker sheets to show for it. It will be fun to see what everyone thinks of their cards since each one is different.

 

We have gotten a ton of cards this week and I'll post tomorrow who's cards we have. I just hope that our cards make everyone even half as happy as we have been to receive ours. I've always wanted to get a ton of Christmas cards from all over the world so this really is the best Christmas present I could have wished for.
