baldylox Posted November 4, 2012 Rei is busy doing some work on her laptop.... DSC_8528 by balldylox, on Flickr "These parameters all look sufficient." DSC_8529 by balldylox, on Flickr Reiko - "Rei-sama? Can we talk?" Rei - "Of course dear. Come on up." DSC_8530 by balldylox, on Flickr Rei - "What seems to be troubling you?" Reiko - "It's Manami. She won't talk to me." DSC_8531 by balldylox, on Flickr Reiko - "It's like she hates me or something. Every time I try to say hello or even talk to her, she runs off or ignores me." Rei - "I am sure she does not hate you Reiko." DSC_8532 by balldylox, on Flickr Reiko - "But it FEELS like she does. I'm drawn to her for some reason and she won't have anything to do with me. Am I a bad girl? Is something wrong with me?" Rei - "Of course you are not bad! You are a wonderful and beautiful girl. Manami is just being stupid.... she is quite good at that." DSC_8533 by balldylox, on Flickr Reiko - "Are you sure tho? I mean, I know she likes all her sisters. She talks to them and messes with them and teases them too. But she won't do any of that with me." Rei - "I can only speak from experience with her Reiko and I know for a fact the problem is NOT with you." DSC_8534 by balldylox, on Flickr Reiko - "I mean, I've even tried to get close to her by wearing seductive clothing! I have nice, large breasts and I know she likes those. She's constantly messing with Mai and Miyuki and Yoko.... why won't she tease me?" DSC_8535 by balldylox, on Flickr Rei - "Reiko, it is NOT your fault. I think it may actually be partly my fault for this happening." Reiko - "What? How can that be?" DSC_8536 by balldylox, on Flickr Rei - "Calm down Reiko. I will make this better, I promise you." Reiko - "I just wish Manami would talk to me or at least say hello once in a while...." Rei "Mama will make this better my dear." Rei - "Now wait here Reiko, I shall go see what I can do to remedy this situation." DSC_8537 by balldylox, on Flickr Rei - "As I thought, in the kitchen yet again." DSC_8539 by balldylox, on Flickr R - "MANAMI." M - "Eeeek!" DSC_8541 by balldylox, on Flickr R - "We need to talk, RIGHT NOW." M - "But it wasn't me! We ran out of cookies 2 days ago! I wasn't hiding any in the cabinet! I..." R - "None of that matters right now. We need to have a talk about Reiko." M - "Reiko? Did she find some cookies?" DSC_8542 by balldylox, on Flickr R - "Look. Drop the facade for once and speak to me normally. Do not play dumb with me and listen to what I have to say. This is VERY important." M - "Okay, okay. Sorry. It must be pretty bad if you're being like this." DSC_8543 by balldylox, on Flickr M - "So what's up with Reiko?" R - "Why are you ignoring her so much? Why will you not acknowledge her? It is tearing her up inside." M - "What? What do you mean tearing her up?" DSC_8544 by balldylox, on Flickr "Do you have any idea what you mean to this family? You are THE main girl here, we all know this. So for you to just ignore one of your sisters is pretty cruel of you. Poor Reiko only wants to be friends with you and spend some time with you and you have been avoiding her since she arrived." DSC_8545 by balldylox, on Flickr "Well, I guess I kinda HAVE been staying clear of her but it's only because I have no idea how to deal with her Rei. She's a clone of YOU. What am I supposed to think of her? It's like having two of you around judging me and watching my every move. But I didn't think she was taking it personally." DSC_8546 by balldylox, on Flickr R - "Of course she is taking it personally you dolt! She is still a girl and she has feelings! For her Onee-san to ignore her causes her great pain. How you did not see this is beyond me. You normally play your games but always make sure the other girls are happy and well cared for." M - "It's like I said Rei, I had no idea how to deal with her so I kind of just steered clear of her. I guess that was the wrong approach. I'm sorry that happened because I'd never want to hurt her. You know that right?" R - "*I* know that but she does not. You need to talk to her because she has strong ties to you." DSC_8547 by balldylox, on Flickr M - "Strong ties? What's that mean?" R - *SIGH* "I suppose I should have told you this earlier but there is no hiding it now. When you hear this, do NOT play stupid because I know you know what I mean when I say this." M - "Alright now you're scaring me Rei." DSC_8548 by balldylox, on Flickr R - "Remember when I was in the process of making Reiko? You entered the lab area and somehow got your DNA mixed in with mine." M - "I do recall going in the computer room and seeing a bunch of stuff in there...." R - "Exactly. I knew you had been in there due to how Reiko came out of her pod. She had larger breasts, your eyes and also your love of beer." M - "So that means that my DNA is now a part of Reiko? And so is yours?" DSC_8549 by balldylox, on Flickr R - "What it means is that you and I are basically Reiko's parents of a sort." M - "PARENTS?" DSC_8550 by balldylox, on Flickr R - "Yes , in a way. She has traits of both of us. But since you only got a tiny bit of your DNA in the mix and at a late stage of the development, Reiko is about 70% like me and 30% like you." M - "Where... where is she now? We need to go talk." R - "I agree but we do NOT need to tell her this just yet. I am not sure how she will take talking to you and then learning that all at once. We should go slow." M - "Alright... I agree. Let's go find her tho." DSC_8551 by balldylox, on Flickr Rei - "Reiko! Look who I found! Manami wanted to talk to you for a bit if that is okay with you." Reiko - "Really? You want to talk to me Manami-san?" M - "Yes. Yes I do. I need to tell you some things." DSC_8554 by balldylox, on Flickr M - "Reiko, I am so very sorry for being mean to you by ignoring you or running off when you wanted to talk to me. I was being a jerk and I'm sorry." Reiko - "Ohh... that's... that's okay. I wasn't sure what was going on really." DSC_8555 by balldylox, on Flickr M - "I really had no idea how to talk to you tho because Rei and I sometimes don't see things the same way and I figured you would be the same way she is." Rei - "THAT is an understatement." DSC_8556 by balldylox, on Flickr M - "Please don't think anyting is wrong with you, you're perfect. I just wanna make things right between us now and we can talk more now and be closer and stuff and... and..." R - "Okay.... umm.. why are you getting all stuttery?" DSC_8558 by balldylox, on Flickr GLOMP M - "Waaahhh! My poor little Reiko! I've been so mean to you! I'm sorry!" Rei - "Uh oh...." Reiko - "Whaaa?" DSC_8559 by balldylox, on Flickr Rei - "There, there Manami, please calm down." Reiko - "Why is she going all emotional on me Rei?" M - "Wahhh!" HUGHHUGHUG DSC_8560 by balldylox, on Flickr Reiko - "I'm happy you're finally talking to me and all Manami-san..... it's nice to be this ..... close.... to you. But.... can you...maybe... loosen up? Can't....breathe..." M - "My baby! My poor baby!" DSC_8561 by balldylox, on Flickr Rei - "Well, that worked out much better than expected. I am glad I fixed this." M - "So now let's watch some TV! Is that okay Reiko? You wanna watch TV?" Reiko - "As long as we're together, I'll do whatever you like Manami!" DSC_8562 by balldylox, on Flickr Reiko - "But maybe we can start by you showing me what's in here..." M - "Whaa? Stop that! Don't do that Reiko!" Rei - "Side effects.... I hate them." RaveOfNightmares Posted November 4, 2012 Awesome little story. It's nice to see Manami not hiding from Reiko anymore, and that it didn't take Rei any real trouble to fix the problem. The "PARENTS?" part is hilarious, although being a clone, there's not nearly all the awkwardness of actually being the parents. Reiko - "But maybe we can start by you showing me what's in here..." M - "Whaa? Stop that! Don't do that Reiko!" Rei - "Side effects.... I hate them." DSC_8563 by balldylox, on Flickr Billy This made me laugh pretty hard. Manami must really be feeling the whole "parent" thing, what with resisting the chance at a breast massage and all. 21 DD girls: Mio, Marina, Yui, Yoko, Nia, Lily, Arisu, Akina, Momo, Arisa, Yukina, Ayaka, Niimi, Eri, Millefeuille, Ekisu, Chitose, Miyabi, KOS-MOS v.4, Hatsune Miku and God Eater Alisa. 2B in a hopeful future. mitsuki Posted November 5, 2012 Well I guess the final frame takes care of any nature vs nurture issues in this case. I think more cloning projects are needed to strengthen statistical power of the study. I hope what Rei was working on is an even better cloning protocol. Also, in order to to be sure it's not just some characteristic of this particular doll's dna (or whatever it is that carries their genes), the experiment needs to be carried out on a wide variety of girls, including multiple body types (especially MDD, as I'm sure they have a number of very unique factors). Kumi Posted November 5, 2012 Billy, thank You for the story, it's great to see Manami's growing maternal instincts Reiko - "But maybe we can start by you showing me what's in here..."M - "Whaa? Stop that! Don't do that Reiko!" Rei - "Side effects.... I hate them." That was the best part. Creme de la creme
DJStarstryker Posted November 5, 2012 Wow. So Manami gets new sisters (your MDDs) *and* finds out that she's one of Reiko's mamas all in such a short period. Lots of new twists in the house! Are you ready to rock? ^_^
baldylox Posted November 5, 2012 RubberMaid Cooler: $29.99 Bottle of Beer: $.89 Various Computer bits n bobs: $375.00 +- Finding out Reiko is your daughter, too: Priceless!! Ha hahaha! That's classic! Thanks for the laugh. Well I guess the final frame takes care of any nature vs nurture issues in this case. Ha! For once in her life, Manami doesn't want some "attention" from another girl! Not sure how she's going to explain that to Reiko... Awesome little story. It's nice to see Manami not hiding from Reiko anymore, and that it didn't take Rei any real trouble to fix the problem. The "PARENTS?" part is hilarious, although being a clone, there's not nearly all the awkwardness of actually being the parents. Thank you! I needed to clear things up with these two in order for other things to proceed so this was the best way I could think of. And yeah, the clone bit is helpful for the most part.... but I'm sure Manami won't keep too quiet about her role as "Momma" so I have no clue how that will play out. This made me laugh pretty hard. Manami must really be feeling the whole "parent" thing, what with resisting the chance at a breast massage and all. Heh, that's the first time I've seen that too so I'm not sure how she will keep Reiko's advances at bay without spilling the beans about her "parent" status. I think more cloning projects are needed to strengthen statistical power of the study. I hope what Rei was working on is an even better cloning protocol. I very much agree with this. Also, in order to to be sure it's not just some characteristic of this particular doll's dna (or whatever it is that carries their genes), the experiment needs to be carried out on a wide variety of girls, including multiple body types (especially MDD, as I'm sure they have a number of very unique factors). Oh really? So Rei needs more funding for cloning projects when she's already expressed that she doesn't want to continue them? If outside investors want to contribute then by ALL MEANS please send your donations of cash to Rei's paypal addy ReiRulez@bellsouth.com Then MAYBE we can move forward with more tests and cloning procedures. As for more MDD's here.... I think my house would implode from that much adorableness in one spot. LOL Billy, thank You for the story, it's great to see Manami's growing maternal instincts Reiko - "But maybe we can start by you showing me what's in here..."M - "Whaa? Stop that! Don't do that Reiko!" Rei - "Side effects.... I hate them." That was the best part. Creme de la creme HA! I dunno about maternal instincts but Manami does feel bad about how she treated Reiko and knowing she had something to do with her "birth" has sparked up SOMETHING in her. I just hope she doesn't go all super protective or something on poor Reiko. And I'm glad you like their banter at the end, typical for my silly bunch. Wow. So Manami gets new sisters (your MDDs) *and* finds out that she's one of Reiko's mamas all in such a short period. Lots of new twists in the house! Well, yes and no. Manami hasn't seen the MDD girls yet. Yoko has met them ( story to come ) and I know a few of the others have met them as well. But since this whole "parent" bit, Manami has been glued to Reiko. So I'm not sure how soon she will get to meet the little ones but I know when she does, something big will no doubt happen. SisterKyoya Posted November 7, 2012 DSC_8546 by balldylox, on Flickr This is one of my new fave Manami pics. So freaking adorable! M - "PARENTS?" DSC_8550 by balldylox, on Flickr And this one too. With Manami's quote it would be perfect as a modivational style poster, her posture and everything reminds me how I feel when I discover another DD decides they are going to live with us. Moe mommies FTW! I loved a ton of the pics in this story but I didn't think anyone would appreciate a picture quote spam of 1/3 of what's already been posted. ~Sister Kyoya Forum Blog: Badger Pocket Tales (Family story from the beginning) | { Old Family story reboot: Start Here! } Follow me on Twitter, Flickr & Instagram

Kumi Posted November 8, 2012 even tho she can't REALLY show emotions You sure of this? Because I don't think so. I don't know how and why, but our girls really CAN show emotions. The way You pose them, how You put their arms, hands, the angle of the head, eye placement, the angle of camera... Ever noticed, that some pictures "talk to You" much more than others? Sometimes the only difference is a slight change of camera position. I think, that some pictures are just much more filled with emotions. Probably some of our emotions, conveyed through our girls. The girls are part of us. They have soul. Our soul
SisterKyoya Posted November 8, 2012 I actually couldn't agree more. I know that Tamayuki is highly expressive, sometime just how his head is tilted or where his wig line sits can make him look kinda sad to very surprised. Sure some could say they are just a mirror of our own emotions, but you could also say that sentiments have no real value because it's not a tangible (aka solid) commodity. I've been surprised at how much personality and visual emotions that DD express, just as much as our two very opinionated and animated cats. I think Kumi said it perfectly right. ~Sister Kyoya Forum Blog: Badger Pocket Tales (Family story from the beginning) | { Old Family story reboot: Start Here! } Follow me on Twitter, Flickr & Instagram

Sometimes the only difference is a slight change of camera position. I think, that some pictures are just much more filled with emotions. I just meant that they can't convey emotions in real life like you or I can. I know for a fact that photos of DD's CAN indeed convey emotions quite easily. All the things you listed above are quite true. But it's mainly the person looking at the photo who "sees" these emotions. I know I put a lot of thought into my pics and how my girls are posed and knowing that the feelings I'm trying to portray are seen by readers and viewers makes all the work worth it. But I find this bit especially true to me: Probably some of our emotions, conveyed through our girls. The girls are part of us. They have soul. Our soul So very true. Thanks for posting this.
