SisterKyoya Posted November 9, 2012 To save from typing the info a lot, here are the websites:Alice's Collections: http://www.alicescollections.com/ Dollmore: http://www.dollmore.net Iplehouse: http://www.iplehouse.net American Girl : ?? (bought at Michael's, but know they're available a lot of places) B&G doll : http://ibgdoll.com/en/ American Girl clothes fit a DDdy?? That's the first I've heard this! How well do they fit? This would be totally awesome because I have been hoping/planning on getting a DDdy sometime this summer and I have a ton of AG patterns from McCalls, Simplicity, and Vogue that would be fun to alter. And the official AG online store is here. ~Sister Kyoya Forum Blog: Badger Pocket Tales (Family story from the beginning) | { Old Family story reboot: Start Here! } Follow me on Twitter, Flickr & Instagram
mitsuki Posted November 9, 2012 American Girl outfits are bigger so they would be likely to fit a DDdy body. I am not sure how they will look since they aren't tailored to fit them. The one dress I had (before I gave it to my friend's daughter) fit fine I think. I will see if I have any other American Girl clothes I can try.
SisterKyoya Posted November 9, 2012 I know for a fact that the waists are completely different, but it didn't quite occur to me that the the widest measurements would fit well. Style of the clothes has a lot to do with how flexible they would be too. ~Sister Kyoya Forum Blog: Badger Pocket Tales (Family story from the beginning) | { Old Family story reboot: Start Here! } Follow me on Twitter, Flickr & Instagram
Jezrah Posted November 9, 2012 My DDDy wears some AG size skirts and stretch pants. Full length pants for AG end up as knee length on a DD. I've tried the tops to the outfits on her, and while they do go on her body, most look pretty bad. They would take extensive tailoring to fit, and I find them easier to tailor down to a S/M bust girl instead. Although, if you want a loose style shirt, they can work untailored on a S/M bust anyway. Here's one picture I have Besides the socks, this whole outfit is AG clothes. I tailored the inner white dress down for DDS, and the skirt is tailored down too. The black shirt is unchanged except that I cut the neck hole wider. If I had wanted, though, I probably could have put the skirt unchanged on a DDDy. I just wanted it for this outfit, though. I'll see if I can scrounge up other pictures later.
