The last of the Halloween Gifts

I actually got these uploaded just before October was over and done with, but lack of time got in the way of getting this story up earlier. These are the last gifts from the Halloween Exchange from Billy & Littlebearries along with a special gift from chibinezumi when we met up at the store for a mini meet Enjoy!

On my way out I passed by Momoko who was heading to the kitchen for a snack with her Hello Kitty plush in tow.

 

Me: Just the girl I was looking for~

Momoko: Hmm? Did you need something Oneesan?

I couldn't help but smile knowing how happy Momoko would be once I told her.

 

Me: Don't tell me you forgot about the Halloween Exchange on the forums? Saber got hers and well yours finally came in the mail.

Momoko: -Overcome with shock she dropped her Hello Kitty plush and put a hand to her mouth- For me? Who is it from?

But before I could say more Momoko started squealing with joy and immediately trust her hands outward.

Momoko: From Billy?! AHHH~! Gimme Gimme!

Me: ^^;;; It's actually right there. I took the liberty of opening it before Saber saw it and decided to bring out Aestus Estus again. I'll be back in a little bit so have fun

Momoko: Boy oh boy I can't wait to see what my Dear Billy has sent me. I never thought I would ever get anything from Billy hehe.

As Momoko started going through the box she quickly realized that something was wrong, but continued to look through the whole box.

Momoko: Why is there nothing in here...? It's just an empty bag and bubble wrap...

Resting her hands on the bubble wrap and hanging her head low, Momoko couldn't help but feel completely crushed.

Momoko: Billy wouldn't do that to me... he said he really likes me after all... Is this a Halloween trick?

After another minute, Saber came strolling by and saw her sister on the floor.

 

Saber: Hi there, what are you doing down there by yourself?

Saber: -Thinking to herself- Hehe it looks like she found the box. It's a good thing I got to it before she did so I could set everything up~!

 

-Saying aloud- Hehe did you find a treat or trick in there?

In a flash Momoko was up on her feet and rushed into Saber's arms wailing.

Momoko: W-Why would he do that? Wahhhhhhhhh....

Saber: Uh--- Sweet sister calm down it's alright.

Momoko: B-But I was so excited to get a present from Billy and instead I g-got an empty box... -whimpers-

Realizing the mistake in her trick Saber smoothed out Momoko's hair and disentangled herself from her sobbing older sister.

Saber: Ah... that didn't turn out right. You weren't supposed to get that upset. Come come I've got something to show you.

Wiping her tears away, Momoko clapped her hands together and looked at Saber with a hopeful expression.

 

Momoko: R-Really? What is it?

Saber: You'll see, but first close your eyes and I'll lead you there.

Saber carefully lead Momoko back over to their little living room area and made sure her sister's eyes were closed shut.

Saber: Alright Momoko the truth is Billy really did send you a bunch of presents, but I wanted to play a little Halloween trick on you before you got to see it all. But... well you know how that turned out. I didn't mean to upset you that much so here you go. Open your eyes!

Momoko: -opens her eyes and blinks for a second before reacting- AH~! Look at all the candy and presents and the whole sofa is decorated!

Saber: Billy sent those with your candy and I thought it would be fun to decorate it just for you.

Momoko: Look a pumpkin candy bucket just for me, Billy does love me!

Saber: Eh... she's lost in Billy-land right now, I'm going to go ahead and open it.

Having been so involved in looking through all her goodies Momoko heard nothing Saber had been saying the entire time ^^;;

 

Momoko: Look look, a notepad for us both! Mmm... you can have the witch one.

Saber: -Raises an eyebrow- Are you trying to imply something sweet sister?

Momoko: -Blinks- Of course not.

Quickly picking up the sticky skeletons off the sofa Saber began her attack on poor sweet Momoko.

 

Saber: A surprise attack! Prepare yourself~

Momoko: N-No! -Tries to cover her face-

The skeletons found their target and in the commotion of it all Momoko had fallen backwards onto the floor looking quite defeated. A roar of laughter was coming from Saber's lips.

Momoko: It's from chibinezumi~! She brought Maisie to the store with her last time, that was so much fun! How come I didn't see this package before? o_O

Saber: These headbands are quite nice. And the candy looks delicious. Though this skull reminds me of someone I've defeated in battle long ago...

This was soooooooo cute!

 

I am so very happy that Momoko got her gifts! That was quite the trick on Saber's part tho. Even *I* was a little upset when I saw nothing was in the box I sent! I about freaked out and thought the Post Office turds swiped all her stuff! I'm glad Saber finally showed her what we sent.

 

Seeing Momoko playing with all the stuff we sent was great. I'm glad she enjoyed it all. And of course I knew she liked Nerds candy! All adorable DD girls love them!!

 

Thanks for sharing these pics, I really enjoyed seeing them and reading the story. I'll have to remember that Saber likes tricks for next year.... she better watch out!
