katnaper Posted November 12, 2012 Question how is Canada? Cold. Wear layers. Lots of them. Seriously. Here's a sample. Take note of the layers. http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=ESIkrxNq1GE&desktop_uri=%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DESIkrxNq1GE Mind you this is from where I'm at. The Niagara area is loads better. Hope I didn't scare yah. Seriously though, Canada is a lovely country with friendly people. I'm sure you'll meet lots of great people whether in the BJD hobby or out of it. Congratulations and good luck in your studies! We have our own BLOG. Please visit us at the House of Nyan by clicking this link or our sig above. See you there. PrettyCranium Posted November 12, 2012 I'm in the Southwestern Ontario region, not too far. And there's a huge Toronto group you can likely meet. And yes, wear layers.
katnaper Posted November 12, 2012 I'm in the Southwestern Ontario region, not too far. And there's a huge Toronto group you can likely meet. And yes, wear layers. waah... I wish there was a bjd community where I'm at. As it is its Saskatchewan DD/BJD community pop.1. might have to swing by the Toronto area and time it when there's a meet just so the girls can meet other dolliehs. We have our own BLOG. Nelly19 Posted November 12, 2012 No am not scared, I have never seen snow or ice, only in cubes in my sodas haha. Hopefully I can learn to ice skate or do some kind of snow sport. Dressing in layers is fine with me, after so many years of trying to be as loosely clothed while trying to be decent in 90 degree heat, it may be a comfortable change for me.i can't even say sakaja....yea...lol I will get it. PlasticFantastic Posted November 22, 2012 Well it's cold here. Especially compared to the Bahamas. It's also really dry here compared to there. You're gonna want a humidifier! Niagara Region is pretty vague, and huge. And Canada in general is really big. ^^; You're in for a treat. And yes, the Toronto DD group is huge. ^o^ Please visit my YouTube channel for helpful DD tips, tutorials, and reviews!
Nelly19 Posted November 22, 2012 I am not afraid! I will miss the sea, but not the heat. I am up for meeting new people and exploring the region. I have yet to google exactly what I will need for winter....I have never seen snow, but I felt hail lol. That's as close as I got to it. And the rain water here is sometimes warm. Please excuse me if I bug you about winter gear lol! Learning that its safe outside my shell too
