Chandra (DD Marya) new face up

I hadn't touched my DD dolls in a while, and decided to try and kick start my interest in them. I've wanted to redo Meade's face for a while (I think I am better at face ups now) and even before I bought Chandra, I planned to change her face. But wiping that beautiful Hikaru132 face up has always been a step too far...

 

... until now. I finally gave Chandra the more mature, grown up face up I wanted to give her. Now she can cosplay Ryoko from Tenchi Muyo! like I planned when I first got her

I know I am a long way from Hikaru132, and miss the elegant perfection of that face. But although it was terrifying to wipe off that face up, I am glad I did, as I really like how she has come out. I also pierced her ears while I was at it.

 

The last two weekends have been face up busy: as well as Chandra,, I've wiped Meade (WS DDH-02 painted to match NS) and redone her NS base coat, and given a modded DDH-03 a NS base coat and face up. Now I just have to do a final check on skin tone match and tinting of Meade to match NS, then she gets a new face up. Their characters have been completely switched: Meade will end up having the much gentler face up.
