mitsuki Posted November 30, 2010 It is time for the holidays. Baking cookies is a fun way to celebrate. These are pumpkin spice cookies. They have traditional holiday spices like cinnamon and nutmeg. Cookies can be packaged up to give to friends. The bag needs to be sealed. Shiny ribbon can be used. Scissors can be used to curl the ribbon. Lots of curled ribbons add volume. Here is the finished bag of cookies. To make the package even more festive, the bag of cookies can go in a holiday themed box. Now it is ready to give to a friend. A little note can be given along with the cookies. So who is Sakura going to give the cookies to? "Naisho" - She says it's a secret. Of course, some cookies will remain for her sisters to eat. Sachiko says that one cookie looks like a heart. It does look like it is heart shaped. Sakura is packing up the cookies, but Sachiko exclaims "Look! There is Godzilla." "Oh! I love Godzilla." It seems Sachiko wants a cookie. It is the heart shaped one. You know I can see you steal the cookie. I couldn't help it. "Sakura dai suki!" (I love you, Sakura) Until next time! baldylox Posted December 1, 2010 AWWWWWWW!!!! So cute! Sakura has some of the prettiest eyes I have ever seen on a Dollfie. Where do I start with all the cool things you have in this post? The small things Sakura uses are so cool! Scissors, a pencil, the custom box, the kitchen utensils ( especially the cookie sheet and spatula! ).... all of it is so neat! I was really hoping those were Peanut Butter cookies tho... "Look, its Godzilla!" Gawd, I laughed SO hard at that! Excellent post Mitsuki, you did a great job with these pics! mitsuki Posted December 1, 2010 Thanks! I will have to try to make peanut butter cookies some time. I wonder if I can find really tiny Hershey kiss-like chocolates to make a miniature version of the peanut butter cookies with a kiss on them.
baldylox Posted December 1, 2010 Thanks! I will have to try to make peanut butter cookies some time. I wonder if I can find really tiny Hershey kiss-like chocolates to make a miniature version of the peanut butter cookies with a kiss on them. I am almost positive I have seen the little "mini" chocolate chips in the store before. Maybe it was Walmart or a local store like Piggly Wiggly that had them, I forget since I don't look for them. It would be cool to see those used tho! Dangit, now I'm all hungry.... Billy I gave up counting the girls I own, they keep multiplying and won't stop. mitsuki Posted December 1, 2010 Baking chips usually come in semi-sweet or bittersweet chocolate. I am sure I have seen milk chocolate chips too. There are even really, really small ones too. I can make two scales of cookies if I can find both sizes of chips.

baldylox Posted December 3, 2010 My Mom called me today asking about clothes and boots for my sisters new DD and I happened to mention the cookies I got from you. Mom was all over that and said she wanted to see what I was talking about. So I just sent her links to this post as well as to mine so she can see the process of baking, mailing and then consuming those awesome cookies. I'll let you know what she says about them!
