AntElitist Posted November 22, 2012 So this is my latest camera. I must say this camera is like a Mini D3. It has D3 capabilities except for the speed which is CL mode in 5.5 FPS compared to D3 11 FPS. Mashiro by AntElitist, on Flickr Edited using the camera built in photo editor. I am impressed to be honest *Also the fact that I don't have Lightroom 4.2 and onwards D600 by AntElitist, on Flickr Built wise, it certainly feels solid. Well this is just a brief introduction. RaveOfNightmares Posted November 22, 2012 Nice photos. New cameras are pretty much always fun right? I recently picked up the Sony A99 myself and am loving it. RaveOfNightmares Posted November 22, 2012 Not sure, but there seem to be a very large amount of complaints and returned cameras due to the oil problem. Either the shutter mechanism or the mirror is the culprit though. After about 1000 shots the sensors have been requiring full wet cleanings to get the oil off, followed again about another 1000 shots later. I heard about the oil thing from reading a lot of stuff online. I'm a Sony shooter, but I read up on everything a bit because I like information. It makes me happy that after almost 4 years Sony released a new FF camera, which I've had for about 3 weeks now and absolutely love. MaxArcher Posted November 27, 2012 Early D3s had an oil problem too, as did D700s if I'm recalling right. I really want a D600 and some f/4 zooms to go with it.
