which girls did you regret selling?

selling your girls is something that's not gonna happen for some (that's so obvious) but quite a normal thing to some. i'm one of those person who always ended up selling some of my girls. i did that because of financial issue.. for those who have already sold some of their girls, which girls did you regret selling?? for me, that would be Sakura and Airy.. lol..do you plan to get the girls that you have sold, back? sometimes i want them back but i will just wait and see whether or not i'm going to get them back.. LOL

So far, I've been lucky enuff to not need to sell any of mine. But in the event of a bad financial issue and I did sell any of them, I would make sure to only sell to people I trusted and with the caveat that when my finacial crisis was over, I had the option to buy them back at the price I sold them for. This way, someone I know would be able to enjoy my girl(s) for a bit and keep them safe while I recovered. Then I could buy them back later when I could afford to.

 

Otherwise, I don't think I could part with any of my girls permanently. I would regret selling ANY of mine.

I love the of 'buying them back', billy. If only i can do that.. ^^,

I dont have a girl yet physically, but i already have a bond with the character i have developed for the physical body. After all the sacrafice, saving, research i couldn't imagine selling her any other dolls i am able to acquire. Hopefully i will never have to consider that option.

Until it's a blank option head, it's no problem. I've sold one 01 and one 04.

But if the head is painted, the girl gains kind of personality

Every one of my girls was hard to acquire (not to mention expensive) and I'd regret selling any of them.

Partially because of the "it was hard to get" and partially because "she will be sad if I let her go"...

I still to this very day regret selling my second Escalayer head. I had an Escalayer and put her on an mdd body, she was cute, but we didn’t bond so I sold her. I later on brought another Escalayer, this time putting her on a dd2 body and I fell in love with her. She instantly told me her name, was loaded with personality and had bags of it to spare. She was my 2nd favourite doll (number 1 will always be Lily of course)

 

Unfortunately, the job I was in at the time was in an awkward location to get to without a car. The public transport links were poor and the busses I had to use were totally unreliable. I was getting in serious trouble for my time keeping and was skating on very thin ice. Basically If I didn’t pass my driving test, buy a car and start driving to work, I would have lost my job.

 

I didn’t have any money in savings at all, so to afford my driving test and my first car, I sold 3 doll heads (Escalayer, Yui and an SQ Labs head), 1 full doll (DD Marya), a dd2 body and most of my dd clothes/shoes. All that I had left was Lilly and my Mama Chapp doll, Mia.

 

I know I did the right thing by securing my job, as that is most important above all else, but I still hate the fact that I sold Escalayer. I brought her head for 30kyen and she costs so much more than that now, so I know I will never be able to replace her. It honestly breaks my heart and I hate looking back at photo’s of her because it makes me so sad. I can’t bring myself to delete the photo’s of her either though, because if I do that, then I’ll have nothing left of her at all…

I recently sold a Nanoha. I kind of regret selling her, mostly because I just don't like selling stuff, but she didn't fit in with the rest of my girls, so she had to go, to fund other stuff. Also regret it because the girl I sold her to split her fullset up, and I'd worked hard to make sure she stayed together. I got a good price though, so I'm not too bummed.

i regret selling my first girl, MDD Illya. I disliked the MDD body so i guess i didn't bond with her as well, but after a few months i started regretting selling her. Especially now with the new MDD body released.

I think the only girl I reaaally regret selling would be Sakura Matou. I originally had Yoko on this list, but after I bought her I really couldn't seem to click with her again. I'd really like one day to get Sakura again. ;~~;
