jadepixel Posted December 2, 2012 I've been sewing up a storm lately, and this time Momoka is my model! The dress, ribbons and stockings I made, the shirt is made by Volks. jadepixel doll lab jadepixel eye shop

baldylox Posted December 3, 2012 Wow, that looks so nice on her! You do excellent work! I really like that style of dress drop where it drops low in front, it's almost Victorian in style but can look sexy too if you use the right shirt under it. Do you plan to make more of these to sell? Or do you just make things for your girls? Billy I gave up counting the girls I own, they keep multiplying and won't stop. mitsuki Posted December 3, 2012 She is so sweet! I love that hair and eye color combination. That dress is adorable.
jadepixel Posted December 3, 2012 Thanks guys! I've been trying to level up my sewing skills lately. The next version will be a bit improved and have a holiday theme... look forward to it I'd like to make a simpler version to sell/trade, if I can find time. Right now I sew very slow and still make a lot of mistakes jadepixel doll lab jadepixel eye shop

Ravendruid Posted December 3, 2012 Amazing job, the dress looks beautiful, and extremely well done. It goes so well with the hair, too. I'm very impressed. Can't wait to see more of your work. Daddy of: Yuriko, Sohi, Miku and SK's many kids

Poofiemus Posted December 3, 2012 Oh man, that outfit is adorable! (Don't suppose there's any point in hoping for the pattern? ) And Momoka looks particularly good in it--cute, but with a streak of mischief. In this household, sanity is considered a tresspasser. jadepixel Posted December 4, 2012 Aw thanks folks I think I can simplify it to make improvements on this dress, and possibly have some of those to sell sometime next year :3 The most time consuming part is adding all the ruffles, without them it's pretty quick to make. jadepixel doll lab jadepixel eye shop
PrettyCranium Posted December 5, 2012 Aw thanks folks I think I can simplify it to make improvements on this dress, and possibly have some of those to sell sometime next year :3 The most time consuming part is adding all the ruffles, without them it's pretty quick to make. I have a gathering/ruffle foot that makes ruffles a lot easier! It was pretty affordable.
jadepixel Posted December 5, 2012 Yes! I'll be getting a ruffler soon. I looked at them a while ago and was scared off by how complex it appeared, but I'm willing to give it a go after doing so much gathering by hand. I also just found out about the pintuck foot, I'd just assumed folks were doing it the hard way. Still a sewing noob jadepixel doll lab jadepixel eye shop
