Gray dress for Momoka

I've been sewing up a storm lately, and this time Momoka is my model!

The dress, ribbons and stockings I made, the shirt is made by Volks.

Wow, that looks so nice on her! You do excellent work! I really like that style of dress drop where it drops low in front, it's almost Victorian in style but can look sexy too if you use the right shirt under it.

 

Do you plan to make more of these to sell? Or do you just make things for your girls?

I think I can simplify it to make improvements on this dress, and possibly have some of those to sell sometime next year :3

The most time consuming part is adding all the ruffles, without them it's pretty quick to make.

I have a gathering/ruffle foot that makes ruffles a lot easier! It was pretty affordable.

Yes! I'll be getting a ruffler soon. I looked at them a while ago and was scared off by how complex it appeared, but I'm willing to give it a go after doing so much gathering by hand. I also just found out about the pintuck foot, I'd just assumed folks were doing it the hard way. Still a sewing noob
