SisterKyoya Posted December 7, 2012 I know about the cost of DD glasses. There are some on the Parabox site that I've been drooling over for some time but keep finding more projects I need to do first. So far the cost of a head and eyes is about the same as the glasses, probibly part of the reason I don't have more DD glasses. Even Naiomi's are some leftover American Girl ones, but they really don't like staying in place. ~Sister Kyoya Forum Blog: Badger Pocket Tales (Family story from the beginning) | { Old Family story reboot: Start Here! } Follow me on Twitter, Flickr & Instagram

baldylox Posted December 8, 2012 Manami, Kino, Sprout, and now Katerina... I almost want to be adopted, or have something that can fold space so I can step over to Baldylox's house and visit a lot. Ha ha! If you figure out how to fold space, please feel free to drop by anythime! But call first! Maybe everyone should send Baldylox a fruitcake for Christmas so he can use them to build the extension to his house he's going to need. LOL! I know that would work well because I've never seen a fruitcake that DIDN'T feel like a brick! Some nice mortar and I can add onto the garage with no problem! Billy I gave up counting the girls I own, they keep multiplying and won't stop.
SisterKyoya Posted December 8, 2012 I fell in love with the idea of fruitcake after reading Truman Capote's "A Christmas Memory" in middle school. It took me many years to find one that I like, the one I make myself! I went by the rule to not cook with a wine (or alcohol) that you wouldn't drink and I hate brandy, rum, or whatever they normally use and do peach schnapps instead. I can't eat most fruitcake because I'm allergic to pineapple and I hate the "nuclear fruit" sold in tubs at the store. We make it every Christmas (with actual dried fruit) now and many people in my family like it, but tons in Raven's family love it. I practically get mobbed when I bring it. Last year I added the fruits and nuts to chocolate chip cookie batter (minus the chocolate) and they are my favorite and not dense/sticky like fruitcake. Anyway, the room extension with fruitcake I remember from a Christmas episode of PeeWee's Playhouse as a kid. he got so many of them that he slathered them in mortar and built with them. Oh, better yet if you have leftovers after the walls are made, you could cut roofing shingles out of the rest. Easy 100 year roof! ~Sister Kyoya Forum Blog: Badger Pocket Tales (Family story from the beginning) | { Old Family story reboot: Start Here! } Follow me on Twitter, Flickr & Instagram
