Jun tries a new style

Jun decided to go to work with me today, so she felt she needed to dress in proper business attire (No idea why, since she never has before)... so she got serious about her duds... which equated to stealing Mariko-sensei's default outfit... which is ok, because Pidge has always felt it was a bit too revealing for her, LOL!

Jun also snatched up all the packages that have arrived so far... much to Alna's chagrin.

Wow.... I already liked your Rise a lot as she was. But this new look is IMPRESSIVE. I love the wig and eye combo! And that outfit looks great on her, even if she can't fill out the top like her sister can. She has good taste in jewelry too, the necklace and earrings are very stylish.

Oooh, you're right! Yeah, Jun has always really struck me as very asian in her facial stylings... when I had her in the black wig and school outfit, she was the perfect little Japanese school girl XD

My other two girls, Alna and Mariko (Pidge) just don't give off that vibe to me. I'm not sure what ethnicity Alna strikes me as... German, maybe? I really don't know... and Mariko-sensei always looks like a puppy to me... a nervous puppy, LOL.

Yeah, Airy's default wig is absolutely one of the best blonde wigs I've ever had, it's a really lovely rich butter color. The earrings were actually made by misskale! They found me, I didn't find them at all XD

See, that's the beautiful thing though, I still have all of her original parts, and I haven't changed anything about her face paint... so if I wanted, I could still put her back in her entirely default outfit and she could be her original character again! For me though, the most exciting thing about DD girls is the ability to make them different from all the rest XD

 

Rise really change a lot for the better. Ha-ha

 

Lol, thanks... yeah, Rise was a very different looking DD girl, very different facial sculpt, I think that's what attracted me to her.

Hahaha... no... seriously, she was way better dressed than I was. Our dress code at work is jeans and t-shirts. LOL. And thank you on your compliments, knowing you don't care much for her sculpt to begin with, it's nice to know Jun can change your mind, if only just a little XD And the jewelry is awesome... well... the earrings anyway... misskale did a wonderful job on them!!! I made the necklace... sometimes a simple bead necklace goes a long way XD

Thank you! It's the Airy default wig... and I loooooove it. The earrings are made by misskale, and they are absolutely lovely ... and to pierce Jun's ears, I actually used the Dollmore hole driller... the tiniest one they had... it worked amazingly, was super easy to use and now she can wear such stylish jewelry!!!

 

Your Rise (or Jun ^^) is by far ones of the nicest Rise's I have seen! I'm usually not a big fan of her, but yours is a real beauty!

 

Thank you so much! I'm always so happy to hear when she can change people's minds a little and make them think, "Ah, this mold can look ok!" lol... I always love it when I'm on flickr and I find pictures like that of dolls I had always thought were just "blah" molds XD

I like to pretend that the image quality reflects how much I adore the doll XD

... uh... unless I took it on my phone with Instagram... then everyone would just think I hate my dolls -_-;;

Yeah, in all honesty, I kind of do as well... it's much more "natural" feeling... and seeing as how I often choose clothing that doesn't accentuate the huge bust on Pidge anyways, her default shirt was just ridiculous on her. XD Seriously... what Akihabara boy could concentrate with a teacher wearing a shirt like that?

She is the most mature looking DD I've seen. I never really thought I'd be much of a fan of a "grown-up", more adult looking doll, but it really works for her. I'm very surprised at how much I like her. I generally prefer "cute" over pretty or beautiful, but I think I'm becoming a fan of Jun.

I really love the Rise mold, because she can look like a teenager or an adult, she's really versatile.
