Male DDs. What heads would you use?

I want to make a DD boy!! That sounds like so much fun! And I would make it tan too XD But it would be fun to make one I would use An 02 head for a slightly serious character. Actually that sounds like a fun idea Hmmmmm....

I hope soon I can get a 07 XD then just to find a body I wish the 65cm Obitsu would hurry and appear for sale!. then the other two heads and OC will be complete (other then clothes face-ups ect XD)

I've seen a few guys made from the pre-rooted heads that don't look bad I'm wondering about using one of those for a guy maybe cutting eye holes out idk if anyone has done that or if its possible but the head itself seems to work fairly well for a shoujo manga type guy.

I'll take one of those! I wish we knew more about the body mods for these boys, if they are just Obitsu bust or if they are something else. Especially from the last pic I'd be in shock if it was a sanded/modded S bust. After having Tamayuki on one for so long, tight fitting clothes like that are very telling.

 

Come on Volks, just give us two boy busts! One for the DD and one for the MDD... its not that hard! (Yes, I know that it is a very involved process for making anything new for production, but I just want 100% Volks boys.)

Woops, I haven't posted that anywhere? I guess I didn't think it was a big deal because it was just a bust swap. With me being such a visual person you would have thought that I would have realized other would want to see what I did too. *Thinks* I did take some pics of Tama with the Obitsu bust... I'll make a post real quick with those.

@ Juu-Yuki you did a good job with Kirito! What kind of wig did you use? Is it fur?

 

I was * thinking of making Rowen from Ronin Warriors and the pre rooted heads seem to have a closer face shape I would just want him to have open eye holes he's younger so his face shape is a bit softer

Yes, the one in the photo is a fur wig. I got a really long one from ebay and just trimmed it myself. I have both fur and synthetic wigs for him.

I'm kiiiind of planning a set of male DDs with my best friend... -v-; My choice of face has to be the DDH-07. Not as fancy as some of the character DDs I've seen here but I think 07 would make a nice pretty boy...

I think 07 is my fav for a boy.

I actually think Neris would make a super cute boy DD.

It still amazes me how (relatively) easy it is becoming to find DD as boys pics now. Compared to what I tried to find before I got Tamayuki, it was nearly impossible. Now they seem to pop up all the time.

 

Aoko looks like he would be the naughty/mischievous type, always getting into fights. Oh boy, I better stop thinking about it now... urg, they are so cute together...

They both still look like girls to me, but it's probably the hair. Somehow my brain interprets a cut like that as a female cut.

Although that Melty is making me want to make Melty into the boy XD (if I ever get to own her)

I did the mistake of considering Saber as my boy and it's grown on me to the point of it being annoying... so I'll be shifting from 07 to Saber for now. -3-;; I think the decisive factor was the eyes on this one for me... they're a lot closer to what I imagined...

For me it is also the default faceups, and a little bit the posing. I could absolutely see these two as more MDD friends for Tama-chan, who himself is not very manly.

 

Done right, even a modded 01 can work for a younger boy.
