Her body just snapped like that, I don't know what I did to it either ;-;

Anyway, it's only this part that's broken but there isn't a replacement part for it on Volks now, is there any other place to find it/ find the replacement part?

Ah, I've never done any DIY work before so this will be a challenge but it's way better than buying a new body, that's for sure! Thanks a lot for the links Kumi! ^^

Yep, when this same thing happened to my Manami, I nearly cried. I didn't do anything beyond the normal posing when she snapped in half. But I had already done repairs to the shoulder tubes on my DDS frame so using the same Permatex Plastic Weld, I was able to fix Manami and she's remained very sturdy ever since. I've also fixed 2 other DD spines since then and none of those have come apart either. Just take your time doing the repairs and have patience. Then you and your girl will be just fine.

You could also get a drill and after the epoxy hardens drill out the top and bottom of that piece so you can run a thin inch and a half (or three quarters) long screw through the hollow peg. Then with a small washer and nut on the end of the screw you can basically reinforce the glued spine with the screw.

My first Volks spine repair was done this way, on our first Volks girl. She's going strong and the reinforced spine is probably stronger than the stock pieces.

I had my doll's leg snap a feww weeks back, and one of my handier friends was able to fix her up so that she was gaurenteed not to snap again. He put in some thin metal poles in her leck and wrapped it up in this super-strong thread and glued it up. If it would help, I can get the information on exactly what he used to fix it.
