atrika Posted December 9, 2012 So after seeing Gunter's post on lovely girls in laces, I decide to try again (?). Even as I put it on, in my head goes "wait, what are you doing?" this is the exact volks dress that stained Yukino in '08, the exact dress that made me feel unfit to be a DD parent, the dress that is responsible why my current DDs only wear white/light color like some prigs (lol). I think this is one of the funniest, scariest shoot for me (and I've worked in the woods in complete darkness and had endured attacks which to me is not as scary as this one). I moved super fast, the backdrop fell had to fix it, and other things. With her being a WS I can't imagine why it wouldn't be possible to have the dress lined in white or cream and some cute lace poking out the bottom edge of her skirt and maybe the sleeves. Arg, sorry. I like to fix things especially when it comes to sewing. Naiomi's black and neon green dress that I made her for Halloween is completely lined with part of some white tights I bought at the dollar store. I thought her sock dress would be impossible to line but it just took some hand sewing. Yes I'm aware that not everyone sews... I'll be quiet now... ~Sister Kyoya lol no worries~! this dress actually belong to my cross-dressing resin boy Sebastian and normally worn by my resins :3 . my sewing skill is just good enough to fix buttons and darn socks XD so I don't think I want my inadequate skill to fix something I paid dearly. But its great you can make your girls dresses! I collect patterns from various japanese doll books, only to dream that I one day have mad skillz to make them! I especially like the photo of her sitting on the floor. I take it you got the outfit off her fast enough to avoid stains?
