Chrono_San Posted December 13, 2012 (edited) Yo, apart from my Silica Project, after seeing some really good BRS DD's on the web i wanted to do one aswell. but not only BRS but also her real-life person, Kuroi Mato. I'm also stuck in an argument with myself over choosing a BRS variant. the OVA vs Anime argument. i prefer OVA mato, while i'd like to do anime BRS because she have a bit more detail on her coat. yet i want both to match. one idea is to just make both set of clothes, simply. OVA Kuroi Mato Anime Kuroi Mato Kuroi Mato Head: ? Eyes: SQLab eyes EBR 03 "dark blue" ??? Hair: any black wig with short twintails or otherwise correct look Body: DDS with S-Bust Clothes: Modified DD uniform or custom made OVA BRS Anime BRS Black Rock Shooter Head: ? Chrono_San Posted December 17, 2012 I'm going to start with mato first and have BRS on hold for a bit. and i'm having a hard time to decide if i'm going to custom sew the uniform or if i'm going to buy this http://www.ebay.com/itm/251-Dark-Blue-Dress-Suit-Outfit-1-3-SD-DZ-BJD-Dollfie-/160496844751?pt=US_Dolls_Bears_Toys&hash=item255e5b7fcf it is basicly very similar (to the winter version with long sleeves from OVA), but i'd need to swap the tie into a blue one. but i'm not 100% sure on it, i might want to make it myself to get a blue tint taht is more spot-on with mato's actual uniform. opinions? Chrono_San Posted January 13, 2013 as Volks partly restocks the DDS parts bit by bit i am starting to order different body parts that i need for Mato while i'm at it with Silica, so i was thinking to soon buy the head too. so i need a little input on which head could fit best for her. from volks i'm looking at DDH 04 or 06, mostly leaning at 06 because it have the better eyes. i want mato smiling, so none of the other heads. unless any SQ head is recommended over these? also, normal or white skin? she looks kind of white to me, but BRS is whiter, so i'm not sure Dollfie Dream Family Kurumi Tokisaki, Shana, Reimu Hakurei, Ayeka Hanaki Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
