Tamayuki's Early Christmas Presents

Amongst the many wonderful thing that we have been sent through the gift card exchange, there was one that I couldn't resist giving to Tamayuki early. Miss Kale didn't know that I had been waiting for a package from Alice Collections as well and they worked out perfectly.

 

 

"Look! I have new clothes! Miss Kale was super nice and sent me this shirt and these pants for Christmas. Now I have pants just like Daddy! Naiomi even said that the sleeves match my eyes." *giggles*

 

 

"And this is my new winter coat. Mommy even made sure to get me one just for boys. If I get cold I can just zip it up!"

 

 

"It even has a cute little hood!"

 

 

"And I even got shoes and socks so I can go outside without my feet getting soggy. I like my shoes. I think they are cool."

 

 

"Now I just need a fuzzy hat, a scarf, and some mittens and I can go play in the snow."

 

I am so pleased with these pictures. They are the first ones I've taken in the daylight in the new DD room. There was another set that I took of Tamayuki in just the shirt and pants a few nights before. They looked horrid because the light wasn't bright enough so the pictures were fuzzy and terribly yellow. I was hoping the clothes from Alice Collections would come before it snowed, and the morning they came it had snowed 6 inches overnight. I have yet to do a snow photo shoot with him since I'm in the middle of getting the DD room and my sewing/craft rooms put together. The backdrop was just a couple of pieces of foamboard taped together with white duct tape and worked remarkably well, although the photos could use some touch-ups to hide the tape seam better. I'll need to make another set that's taller so the window doesn't show in the pictures. Best thing about it is that it is light, folds flat, and takes very little room to store. I adore how these came out and look forward to doing more photos of our DD and AGs soon.

Tamayuki is a cutie (oh I did the rhyme!) and the new clothes really fit him so good!

What a cute little guy, he's so excited! As well he should be... the outfit is very stylish, as well as practical XD

 

I can't wait to see him playing in the snow XD

Tama is super cute. I love his outfit and I can't wait for his pictures playing in the snow. That jacket is very nice and it looks like its a great fit. I won't wonder if the girls won't come running.

Though I've probably been watching more Doctor Who than strictly healthy, as when he said he thought his shoes were cool, I heard the 11th Doctor in my head: "I wear shoes now. Shoes are cool."

 

He's so cute.

 

I'm glad it all goes together so well! Especially with those shoes and the jacket.

 

I admit I hadn't thought about the sleeves matching his eyes.

Congrats Tama! You finally have some boy only clothing just for you! And you look very dapper in your jacket and pants, it's a perfect look for you! And those sneakers are really cool too.... you know this means you can actually SNEAK about on secret missions now right?

 

These pics did work out very nicely SK, lots of color and good clarity. Good light makes a big difference huh?

Tamayuki: *giggles from being called cute* "I want to play in the snow whole bunches. It keeps snowing a little bit then melts and freezes again. Crunchy snow isn't as fun to play in and kinda hurts when I try to make snow angels in it."

Tamayuki: "Hi Nyanko Sensei! My coat zips up and everything but Mommy needs to help me get my shirt sleeves into it. She said if the coat sleeves were any skinnier they might not fit on my arms. Why would girls want my coat? It's not girly at all, and its mine."

 

*waves energetically at the monitor* "Hi Big Bro Kaylus! If we had a host club you could be Mori and I could be Hunny and ride around on your shoulders. I told Mommy a long time ago that I want all of Hunny's outfits. He gets to eat lots of cake and snuggle with cute things. I guess there might be girls there too. I would bake lots of cookies and they could eat them. Nobody would get any peanut butter ones because Perry would eat them all first."

Doctor Who unhealthy? Never! Says the woman who has gone on weekend stints of watching Doctor Who. My favorite Dr. so far is the 9th, but currently watching the 10th and random old episodes from the 60s. *stops to think* Dolly would probably love a Dalek plushie.

Tamayuki: "Hi Uncle Billy Bear! I like having clothes that my sisters can't take. Mommy let Rainie put on one of my shoes to see if it would fit. I told her that it was ok if it was just this once. She was happy that it fit so now she knows where to get Rainie shoes too. Sometimes Rainie recruits me when we play spies and she likes secret missions a lot. She makes us use code names and everything. She calls me Shorty McPicklepants." *makes a grumpy face* "Rainie won't let me change it."

 

Thanks Billy. Raven and I have been trying to figure out better lighting for when I need to do photos at night. Sometimes it's the only time I have to do them and with the winter days being so short it has been aggravating trying to find the right time to get photos done.

Thank you everyone for all the nice comments. It is really nice finally having a full new outfit for Tama. Perhaps now he won't be so grouchy at me when I need his help in fitting MDD girl clothes patterns.

So, just need to put my hand up and say I can't wait for the Christmas special.

 

Also, I am the fondest of Patrick Troughton (2nd), my Husband Sylvester McCoy (7th), my brother Jon Pertwee (3rd) and my grandmother's was Peter Davison (5th). If you want to try the 8th, I'd highly recommend the Big Finish audio plays, since that's all he has outside of the TV movie.

Oh, I can't wait for the special either! The Ponds were nice as their own characters, but they weren't exactly the most stellar as companions, so I'm really looking forward to seeing what Clara is like. Also looking forward to the new interior, though I'm definitely going to miss the warm color palettes the past two TARDIS interiors used.

 

Haven't watched much in the classic series yet, sadly--been trying to get the parental units caught up on the new stuff prior to the Christmas special first. (Don't think we're quite going to make it, but it won't be for lack of trying!) I have seen the 4th Doctor "Pyramids of Mars" story, and part of Sarah Jane's first appearance; I think I will enjoy the classic stuff, but I'll need some downtime between that and finishing the new stuff so that I won't find the pacing differences so jarring.

 

Out of the new Doctors, I like all three (9 10 and 11), but 10 is the one most likely to reduce me to incoherent fangirl noises.

Rory. He's actually one of my favorites. He reminds me of Jamie and Ian. ^_^;

 

McGann's TARDIS was also a warm palette overall. The new one looks much more like it used to with the roundels, so it's exciting to me.

 

It's actually odd watching Doctor Who now if you grew up with it. It was something that was always obscure and weird, and now it's everywhere. It's simultaneously awesome and vaguely disconcerting because you keep wondering when it's all going to backfire.

Wow! Tamayuki got some really stellar early Christmas presents from you & misskale! He looks like such a nice young man who is ready to get out there and play, play, play!

Seraphina: You are looking like quite a gentleman in your new outfits Tama~ It is okay if I call you Tama, yes?
