PrettyCranium Posted December 25, 2012 Nice pictures! I see that everyone in your house has a Dr. Who obsession . . .
baldylox Posted December 25, 2012 How is it that YOU get snow out in the desert and we never get ANY?? Nice pics tho, I like the style of these. Agatha looks very happy to be inside away from the cold but Nanoha looks like she wants to go out and play. I like both your girls outfits but for some reason, Nanoha seems to look more at home in this style of clothing. I wonder why that is? Billy I gave up counting the girls I own, they keep multiplying and won't stop.
kymaera Posted December 25, 2012 What? No pictures out in the actual snow? Slacker!
mitsuki Posted December 27, 2012 Those are beautiful photos! The lighting is so perfect. I love the cozy and festive feel of seeing them gazing out at the wintery scene.
Ravendruid Posted January 2, 2013 Gorgeous! I especially love Nanoha's outfit, it looks so festive and seasonal, but Agatha also looks lovely, as always. You have a great location, too. The trees and the snow make it look extra Christmassy, to me. The soft lighting gives a bit of a dreamlike feel to everything as well. Beautiful! elfinder Posted January 2, 2013 Very nice, love their outfits! Makes me wish we'd get some snow here so I could do a winter shoot!
Poofiemus Posted January 6, 2013 Isn't snow so much fun!? I really like how your second lady is dress, it gives me that Christmas spirit feeling. Fun to look at, and maybe fun to be in for like, one day, but much more than that and this desert rat starts whining. Thanks! That dress is from DoA seller PhyllisIsis, and I'm pretty sure she still has some available. Pretty nicely made for only $19! I had hoped it would fit Agatha's cleavage, but it turns out Nanoha can really rock the historical looks when she feels like it. Nice pictures! I see that everyone in your house has a Dr. Who obsession . . . Thanks! Lol! Well, my mom, Agatha, and I at any rate. Nanoha's actually got some willing-suspension-of-disbelief issues with the show. How is it that YOU get snow out in the desert and we never get ANY?? Nice pics tho, I like the style of these. Agatha looks very happy to be inside away from the cold but Nanoha looks like she wants to go out and play. I like both your girls outfits but for some reason, Nanoha seems to look more at home in this style of clothing. I wonder why that is? Billy Altitude! My mom's place is at nearly 6,000 feet, and for a while I went to school at 7,000. Makes for some funky weather--bunches of snow that largely melts off the next day, for example. Thanks very much! Yeah, I think I may have accidentally converted Agatha into being a fellow desert rat, while Nanoha doesn't seem to be bothered by the cold. (I suspect some magical clothes tweaking is involved, but when I ask she just winks and says, "A combat mage never revels her secrets.") It may be because Agatha's is kind of a hodge-podge, while Nanoha's is meant as a set. Agatha's vest came from the same seller as Nanoha's outfit, the skirt is the one I made to go with her purple jacket, and the shirt/jabot came from the Lady Vampire set. I think the vest works well with the shirt, but I definitely need to make or buy a different skirt, as none of the ones I have really match it. What? No pictures out in the actual snow? Slacker! Of course not! While I am indeed a coldness wuss, I should also mention those snow drifts were over a week old, and were pretty manky up close. Not very photogenic at that range. Those are beautiful photos! The lighting is so perfect. I love the cozy and festive feel of seeing them gazing out at the wintery scene. Thanks! I don't often get overcast days like this, so when I did I had to take advantage of it. (Though I was surprised at how many photos were clear in that dim lighting.) Gorgeous! I especially love Nanoha's outfit, it looks so festive and seasonal, but Agatha also looks lovely, as always. You have a great location, too. The trees and the snow make it look extra Christmassy, to me. The soft lighting gives a bit of a dreamlike feel to everything as well. Beautiful! Thank you! Man, now I've got to find or make something equally showy so Agatha doesn't get shown up in the future. I love the place my mom lives at now, too; it's a huge improvement from the shrub brush at the last two places my parents lived at! I'm hoping to get some nice shots of the girls actually outside sometime in the spring. Very nice, love their outfits! Makes me wish we'd get some snow here so I could do a winter shoot! Thanks! I'm glad I managed to actually find something positive to do with snow--when I was going to school at the university at 7,000 feet, walking through the snow and over ice all the time really took a lot of the glamour out of the stuff. I didn't have my girls then though, so maybe if I had it might have redeemed snow a bit in my eyes. In this household, sanity is considered a tresspasser.
