katnaper Posted February 25, 2013 Gah! Just hearing about Tiger made me have a mental nose bleed. I am utterly hopeless. I watched all of T&B and am totally bonkers over that show. So am I. Tiger is just simply too adorable. I love how funny and clumsy and wise he is. I don't blame Blue Rose for falling for me hehehe. If I was an anime character, I probably would too. Bunny is sexy as heck but Tiger has character. I love the voice acting and I agree I don't think I can imagine Tiger not sounding like Tiger. Is there a season 2? To tide me over, I've been watching Psycho Pass and hubby and I are chortling over all the fan service in Rosario Vampire. We have our own BLOG. Haven't heard about a season 2, but it seems to be a hot property at the moment so who knows. Been wondering about Psycho Pass but I didn't know what the limits were. Going by the name it could be pretty out there in the violence department, but I did see they had a glasses guy. Sounds like the dumbest reason ever to watch an anime, but I've found a lot of great ones that way, many I wouldn't have watched otherwise. Saiyuki being the most recent to be added to that list. ~Sister Kyoya Forum Blog: Badger Pocket Tales (Family story from the beginning) | { Old Family story reboot: Start Here! } Follow me on Twitter, Flickr & Instagram

At least, it not too gory or anything like that. Dark if I have to use one word to describe it. We have our own BLOG. Please visit us at the House of Nyan by clicking this link or our sig above. SO much of it also depends on what kind of mood I'm in. Sometimes Save Me Lollipop is about as much as I can handle, and then there are times when I can deal with Baccano. I'm interested in looking at Psycho Pass when I have time (most likely this summer...) ~Sister Kyoya Forum Blog: Badger Pocket Tales (Family story from the beginning) | { Old Family story reboot: Start Here! } Follow me on Twitter, Flickr & Instagram

katnaper Posted April 11, 2013 Just finished watching Usagi Drop. We're such softies, me and hubby as we were crying while watching some episodes. Granted the manga kinda was unexpected but just the way they did the story on this one for the anime was just so heartwarming. We have our own BLOG. PrettyCranium Posted April 11, 2013 I loved Usagi Drop so much! Too bad there wasn't more of it (would love to have a continuation that does not go the controversial way of the manga).
katnaper Posted April 12, 2013 I loved Usagi Drop so much! Too bad there wasn't more of it (would love to have a continuation that does not go the controversial way of the manga). Its such a lovely anime. And yes, I do wish it would have a part two where the ending isn't like the manga. It would be nice if Nitani-san and Daikichi got together instead. We loved it because we could so relate to the things Daikichi did for Rin, like all the different sacrifices with regards to career, learning about school stuff, doing hair, etc. Its just a beautiful anime. baldylox Posted April 12, 2013 I've watched a lot of different things lately and some were just excellent. Such as: Accele World Sword Art Online Now I'm watching "Yakitate Japan" and loving it. It's the most oddball, fun and cool show I've seen in a while. It's about making bread. Yeah, bread. But it's so much fun! Billy I gave up counting the girls I own, they keep multiplying and won't stop.

Silverwing Posted April 13, 2013 I'm currently into Horizon in the middle of nowhere, (a bit hard to follow and kinda ecchi, but some memorable characters and hysterical moments.) as far as my favorites go, I have my top three: -Anything type-moon (The Fate series, witch on holy night, melty blood, tsukihime, carnival phantasm. -I lump it all into one catagory.) -Evangelion (New and old) -Ikki Tousen I also love some of the other titles, Haruhi Heavens Lost Property Rosario Vampire Angel Beats! Spice and Wolf K-On! Granted I haven't been in the hobby very long, so there are many more I want to see as well.
Bloodflower Posted April 13, 2013 I'm planning to rewatch Shiki so I know more of Toshio Ozaki for a cosplayLARP. It's also a amazing series and one of my biggest favourites so I'm happy. baldylox Posted April 13, 2013 Loved that show. Made me rather hungry though, kinda like Cooking Master Boy. HA HA HA! So it's not just ME who gets hungry watching that! Seriously, the first weekend I started watching Yakitate, I marathoned like 13 or 14 eps in one day. After about 5 eps, I found myself wanting a bagel so I made 2 of them and sat back down to happily watch my bread show while eating bread. LOL And the next time I was watching more than a few eps in a row, I found myself making PBJ sandwiches. I guess I need to limit myself to 2-3 episodes at a time so I don't bloat up due to eating too much bread! Billy I gave up counting the girls I own, they keep multiplying and won't stop. Talolili Posted April 14, 2013 I just finished watching Rin: Daughters of Mnemosyne. I usually don't watch animes of this type but it was very interesting and I ended up loving it (I had to fall for the antagonist again). At only 6 eps long, it really fit into my work schedule too. Long running shows take me weeks to finish now.

starswirl Posted April 14, 2013 Just started Elfen Lied. Interesting so far. Elfen Lied is a great show! I am currently watching Full metal alchemist brotherhood. I've been a huge fan of the original & manga for years. So far, I likey
baldylox Posted April 14, 2013 Just started Elfen Lied. Interesting so far. Ahh Elfin Lied.... one of the first super crazy, bloody and scary anime I watched. It holds a special place in my heart tho as I loved the story and felt a connection to the characters. Let us know what you thought of it once it finishes! Soenatte Posted April 14, 2013 I juuust finished Magi and although I'll say I was a little disappointed at times (it really isn't up to par with the manga's greatness) I'm looking forward to season 2 now. Naturally I'm watching Devil Survivor 2 (SMT games are among my favorite games ever, and DS 1 & 2 rank just bellow the Persona spin-offs) and I also started on Karneval on which I have severely mixed opinions on. Also watching Photokano on the side as well as Hakkenden (although the later is already finished). There's also Red Data Girl from which I've only seen the first episode but might resume watching at a later time if I have time. The manga is even weirder. It's worth reading if you're a huge fan of the show, though you have to be aware it's even more violent than the show. The anime doesn't even cover half of the story that the manga does. The manga was never given an official English release, so you'll have to search for the fan translated stuff if you can't read Japanese. By the way, for those of you who like Elfen Lied for the mystery aspects of it (not the fanservice or violence), I suggest checking out Monster. Unfortunately, the company putting out the anime only put out some and then quit, so you'd have to find fansubs or just read the manga (which did come out completely in English). Such a fantastic show. That is a show that will make you want to watch many episodes at once so you can find out more of what's going on. Are you ready to rock? ^_^

I watched "Monster" when it was on SciFi and it drove me crazy because they would go for so many episodes with no story movement at all, just side stories that bored me to tears. I watched the entire show in hopes it would redeem itself in the end but it never did. At least not to me. I found it to be a huge waste of time. Personally, I wouldn't recommend "Monster" to anyone but to each their own. There's plenty of anime shows I like that others probably think are crap. No disrespect to you on recommending this show, I'm just voicing my opinion on it. Billy I gave up counting the girls I own, they keep multiplying and won't stop. Personally, I wouldn't recommend "Monster" to anyone but to each their own. There's plenty of anime shows I like that others probably think are crap. Nah, it just depends on taste. It has a lot of episodes, so there are some episodes where there is little movement. I totally understand the different tastes thing. I actually watch very little shounen anime, for example, and those end up being pretty popular. I'm talking about One Piece, Naruto, Bleach, Magi, Prince of Tennis, Kuroko's Basketball, and that type of thing. So when I get into these conversations with people in person about anime, they start asking me about anime and it ends up with me not having seen what they like. Then they ask me what I do watch and I start naming stuff they haven't seen. I will admit there's some shounen anime on the shelf though. Such as Gurren Lagann, Eyeshield 21, Hajime no Ippo (Fighting Spirit), and Outlaw Star. They're just in the minority. Are you ready to rock? ^_^
