baldylox Posted December 13, 2015 I've blitzed thru the first 11 episodes of "Ore Monogatari" and it's seriously one of the best shows ever. It's a romance comedy but it's so different from the normal formula. The main characters are physically opposite and look so out of place with each other... but that's the great part of it. Watching them go on dates and be silly and shy is hilarious and the friends they have do the "straight man" bits extremely well. It's fun, it's adorable and it's made my cry a few times already just because it's so DAMN CUTE. Go watch it now. GO. NOW. Billy I gave up counting the girls I own, they keep multiplying and won't stop.

It's a romance comedy but it's so different from the normal formula. My Love Story!! and Nozaki-kun were basically total GIFTS this year in anime, in terms of retooling the usual romance & comedy tropes to make fantastic new experiences also One-punch Man belongs in that pile, yawp

katnaper Posted January 7, 2016 I've blitzed thru the first 11 episodes of "Ore Monogatari" and it's seriously one of the best shows ever. Billy Have you read the manga? That sometimes makes me cry too. But yes, the anime is so cute! I am currently watching Inuyasha and am almost done. I don't why I put off watching it for the longest time but I really like it. baldylox Posted January 8, 2016 I've blitzed thru the first 11 episodes of "Ore Monogatari" and it's seriously one of the best shows ever. Billy Have you read the manga? That sometimes makes me cry too. But yes, the anime is so cute! Nope, I haven't read that but it might be fun to. I am currently watching Inuyasha and am almost done. I don't why I put off watching it for the longest time but I really like it. Oh man, Inuyasha was one of the first long running series I got into when it aired for the first time on Toonami. I'd never seen a show that was over 52 episodes before so when they would get to a part that they didn't have any more dubbed eps ready yet and start over from the beginning, it would KILL me! I have the whole series on DVD tho and I really, really need to rewatch it since it's been so long. I just finished up "Prison School" and while it was different, it wasn't all that great. It had its moments but overall it wasn't spectacular or anything. I watched the first season of "Kimi ni Todoki" and LOVED it. It's similar to "My Love Story" in that it's so adorable! The main character is named Sawako but since she looks likes the girl from "The Ring" and gives off creepy vibes, everyone calls her Sadako instead. She's so funny and cute because she hasn't had good relations with classmates until she got into high school. Seeing her become more outgoing is great and when she gushes about the simplest things like people saying hello to her in the morning it's so sweet and funny! I plan to start watching the second season this weekend and I hope it continues to be as good as the first one! Billy I gave up counting the girls I own, they keep multiplying and won't stop. jazijaz Posted January 25, 2016 I watch Gintama and Mr. Osomatsu sometimes. They're so funny! I started watching recently "Terra E" and it has become my favorite anime, the story is so good and different and all the characters are developed wonderfully. The music is fantastic! Aurinko Posted February 9, 2016 Touhou Fantasy Kaleidoscope episode 6 was the last thing I watched, does that count? XD I need to watch The Heroic Legend of Arslan, the new one. It looks like my kind of thing.
Haku Posted February 10, 2016 I really enjoyed Arslan Senki. If you enjoy it, you might enjoy Record of Lodoss war if you can handle older stuff.
jadepixel Posted February 15, 2016 Oh, I didn't realize there was a new Arslan anime. The manga is great, I'll have to look into that. I've been watching 'Erased' on Crunchyroll, it's a mystery/drama series with a bit of a supernatural twist, about halfway through the series and it's still really good! jadepixel doll lab jadepixel eye shop

baldylox Posted February 15, 2016 I recently watched the first season of "Kaiji: Ultimate Survivor" and I must say that for an older show, it was pretty good. I was expecting something to do with "extreme gambling" but what I got was that with some really crazy twists. The show did stretch out some things a bit more than I thought was needed but overall the drama and pacing was good. I actually found myself tensing up a lot while watching it. There's a second season but I'm taking a break from getting into that right now. What am I on break with? "Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn". From one heavy show into another! There's only 7 episodes of this hsow but each episode is an hour long so it's basically a 14 episode season. I've watched the first two eps and I'm hooked. I've always loved Gundam stuff and this one has done some things right that gave me goosebumps when I saw them. Billy I gave up counting the girls I own, they keep multiplying and won't stop. jazijaz Posted February 16, 2016 Right now I'm watching Legend of the galactic heroes. I'm so glad I found this gem, it's been years since I watch a truly mature and unique anime that has me glued to the screen. All the newest shows are not of my taste, they don't make anime like this anymore.
Minuette Posted February 18, 2016 Oh, I didn't realize there was a new Arslan anime. The manga is great, I'll have to look into that. I've been watching 'Erased' on Crunchyroll, it's a mystery/drama series with a bit of a supernatural twist, about halfway through the series and it's still really good! My husband and I have been watching Erased also! It's amazing! I was upset when I realized we had gotten to the most recent episode, I definitely need more! baldylox Posted March 13, 2016 I finally finished up "Gundam Unicorn" but have yet to begin watching any other series yet. I may go back to Kaiji and finish that but I also might start watching one of the newer series that are about to finish up in the next week or two. Work's been wearing me out lately so my time off has been spent getting stuff around the house done and sleeping when I can. Anna-neko Posted March 14, 2016 LOVE LIVE!! ok... so, actually it's not the anime itself, but the real life LIVE concerts the voice actresses/idols put out annually Those things are sparkly **magic** & everyone needs to watch it

baldylox Posted April 4, 2016 Finished off all of "Kaiji" and while it was entertaining, it made me mad that they just had him go right back into his former life of poverty after winning big at the end. That and how they stretched out ONE game of pachinko to last almost 10 episodes.... After that I needed something fun and pretty so I watched the 2nd season of "Non Non Biyori". I adore this show for its simplicity and slice of rural life style. Plus Renge-chan is the most adorable girl! Next was "Gate" and THAT show rocked. Loads of action, fun characters and RORY MERCURY. If you don't know who she is, Google her.... she is tha SHIZNIGHT. And now I'm working on "Galko-chan". It's a short series ( thirteen 8 minute episodes ) but it's fun and has lots of odd info in it. Plus.... BOOBS. Not bare ones, just big ones on Galko-chan herself. Billy I gave up counting the girls I own, they keep multiplying and won't stop.
