Right now am still watching "HighSchool Of The Dead"

Sunday I watched the entire series "Panty and Stocking". I must say it was............. different.

 

The overall style was neat tho, I liked the "Powerpuff Girls" style of the animation. But I did want to see more of the girls in their grown up Angel forms, those were pretty cool.

 

I was expecting it to be odd and full of toilet humor but it far exceeded what I was thinking it would have. I found myself going "HUH?" quite often.

 

Overall it was interesting and I really liked Stockings character. But it wasn't something I think I'd watch again anytime soon.

I have seen recently Black Rock Shooter and now I'm watching Fate zero again, in my free time.

Humanity Has Declined and Shin Sekai Yori/From the New World.

Both on crunchy roll and both are equally awesome in their own ways.

Tried Sword Art Online, but episode 13 & 14 reaaaaaaly turned me off the series lol.

I have fallen in love with Girls und Panzer. It has everything I love: war games and all-girl's high school. Everything about it is so cute, and so full of tanks. I wish it were real. I would definitely take tank driving up as a sport!

But it really is splendid lighthearted humor. I especially like the sleepy and grumpy driver they woke up by doing a gun salute in the middle of town.

Yes, that was quite funny; I liked that the townspeople weren't upset or irritated that someone was firing a blank in a residential area so early in the morning.

Currently watching Kamisama Hajimemashita. Have to say I loved the manga. I find it really funny. Also started on a new one, Say I Love You. It's cute to see it in anime form as I also follwo the manga. What can I say, I love shojo manga.

I guess calling it Kamisama Kiss wont set off the the language filters, heh..

 

mm, I mentioned these two already earlier, and they have indeed been a source of warm and fuzzy entertainment so far, eventhough im not that big a fan of overly flustered girls, and kamisama kiss is still a bit like fruits basket light, for obvious reasons.

 

Personal highlights so far have been Mei taming the little sister in Sukitte iinayo, and the transition from the final push into the ending theme in ep 3 of kamisama kiss.

Can't say I liked that anime but that could just be me. Kanako struck me as too spineless and I watched the show trying to hope that the next episode would show a redeeming quality in her character or Mariya's. Didn't happen.

I really l iked Mariaholic and I look forward to seeing the second season soon.

 

I just started to rewatch "Dance in the Vampire Bund" today. I had started to watch it like a year ago but that was before I could watch it in HD on my big TV. I *hate* watching anime on a small screen in the computer room... So now that I have the other setup, I started over and got thru 7 eps today. It's a lot better than I recall so far and has some really cool action scenes.

That series I really liked. As for Mariaholic like I said I guess its just not for me. I like the anime style and there were some really funny parts but I just didn't get hooked on it so to speak. Mind you I'm sure there's animes I like that other people would say, 'huh?'

 

And yeah, watching them on a bigger screen is awesome. I remember watching Soul Eater and Claymore on Netflix on the TV, and yeah. Much better.

Maria Holic looks like it would be a lot of fun. I started watching Vampire Bund sometime last year, but don't remember why I quit. I'm pretty sure I enjoyed it, probably just got distracted and then forgot about it.

I just watched all of Str.A.IN a couple days ago. It was pretty awesome. A LOT happens in 13 episodes. It's sci fi if you're into that. I guess there's some mechs in it too.

Robotcs;notes and Shirokuma Café~

I'm watching Robotics;Notes, which I find to be the best series running this season, I love this show!

Also watching Girls und Panzer, Danball Senki W and Gyrozetter. Probably some more but I have forgotten the names of them...

My watching list has increased,so now I'm watching Shin Sekai Yori (best anime this season), Psycho-Pass (also insanely good), Robotics;Notes (a little bit boring sometimes), Magi (quite interesting and fun to watch) and Chuunibyou Demo Koi Ga Shitai (really funny most of the time mixed with good drama and romance).

Planetes, and it's so nice!

I am watching right now Soul Eater And Tayutama

Caught up with and finished K over the weekend. The first episode did impress me technically but the concept felt really shallow, and that didn't really change after watching the entire thing. It's very pretty, especially coming from a studio with such an unimpressive previous CV, but overall I was left with a feeling that it was mainly just a technical rehearsal that played it safe with everything else. The characters felt handpicked from popular series - the main pair Shiro and Kuroh looked like Shion and Nezumi from No.6, the Blues like Amestris soldiers from FMA and the reds like various Durarara characters. The plot felt fairly insignificant too, but at least they kept the wordy exposition to a minimum and mainly concentrated on sweet-looking action, though I wouldn't have minded if they'd opened the backgrounds of the happenings and the characters just a bit more during the series also instead of leaving that to spin-off mangas. But it was a very interesting watch and I'm eagerly looking forward to studio GoHands' future efforts, definitely looks like they'd have the potential to be the new Ufotable when it comes to animation quality.
