Keijogirl Posted August 24, 2012 I'm about to start watching AnoHana: The Flower We Saw that day I've been itching to see it, but reluctant at the same time because it's supposedly a wicked tear jerker lol. I just finished watching an oldie, I! My! Me! Strawberry Eggs. I loved it. I can see why it's somewhat of a classic now. I loved the way they handled all of the subject matter, and so many times it made me either a bit misty eyed if not just laugh out loud. I don't know why I'm on the roll with stuff that makes me cry but it was that or 2x2 Shinobuden. I have been really into the old stuff as of late xD At Home: Kiyo, Hikaru , Nikko, Komaki, Miho, Kana-chan, Tamakits, Illya, Misa, Deku, Nao, Zana, Ciri, Aki, Alisa, Kana, Yuka, Kiki, Komaki (Oni Mode), Ai, Chili, Nagisa, DDh03, Erica, Miyabi, Jun, Haruka, Sasha, and Laila Saving for: Accessories! djgamer Posted August 31, 2012 Currently watching Sword Art Online. It's amazing. The story and artwork are just top notch. I'm hooked after just the 1st episode. Proud captain of two lovely squires, Kimberly and Airana
blueboy57 Posted September 3, 2012 having seen the title Sword Art Online mentioned a few times, I decided to check it out. Well now I'm hooked lol. Can't imagine what it would be like if there really was a game out like that. It'd make WoW users look like normal well adjusted human beings lol DD Family: Kara (Power Girl) HDD-02 & DDDyIII
baldylox Posted September 3, 2012 Over the long weekend I watched "Brave 10" and got halfway thru "R15". Brave 10 was a good action show and some of the characters were pretty fun. And so far, R15 is your typical high school comedy with some romance and silly antics tossed in. It also has plenty of fanservice. Billy I gave up counting the girls I own, they keep multiplying and won't stop.
DJStarstryker Posted September 6, 2012 I saw my first episode of Doraemon recently. It was crazy. Nobita and Doraemon had this device that could prevent bad things from happening to them, but most of the time, they failed to prevent the bad things from happening. It was kinda Looney Tunes type slapstick for that one. I guess it makes sense the show's been going on forever. They really can make episodes about all kinds of stuff. Also saw part of an episode of Crayon Shinchan for the first time. I didn't like it, only because the animation style of it bugged me. Are you ready to rock? ^_^
leitan Posted September 6, 2012 me/my boyfriend can't just watch any one anime at a time, so here are the series we are watching or in some cases re-watching... Shirokuma Cafe Humanity Has Declined Sword Art Online Xam'd: Lost Memories Excel Saga Melancholy of Haruhi etc etc all recommended. we just finished watching Gosick too which was fantastic. i often watch anime by myself and then re-watch it with the BF if it's good, for instance i just made him watch Eureka 7 with me which is one of my favorite anime (i haven't seen Eureka AO yet so no spoilers please!). he does the same thing - i had never seen Excel Saga which he LOVES and now i'm totally hooked too! I loved Eureka 7. It was a long series but totally worth it. And Xam'd: Lost Memories was awesome too. Like it ended and I was like "what no more?" . I have to say I don't think I've ever seen a bad anime that Bones has made. And anything with Crispin Freeman as a voice actor always seems to make my top list. Keijogirl Posted September 13, 2012 I just finished Yondaemasu-yo, Azazel-san xD I loved it. It was pretty refreshing to see an anime with demons that actually had the demons behaving badly rather than demons but good. :3 At Home: Kiyo, Hikaru , Nikko, Komaki, Miho, Kana-chan, Tamakits, Illya, Misa, Deku, Nao, Zana, Ciri, Aki, Alisa, Kana, Yuka, Kiki, Komaki (Oni Mode), Ai, Chili, Nagisa, DDh03, Erica, Miyabi, Jun, Haruka, Sasha, and Laila Saving for: Accessories! baldylox Posted September 13, 2012 I recently watched the movie "King of Thorn" and must say it was really cool. Very sci-fi in it's story and the way it plays out was well done. Lots of plot twists too and the ending was NOT what I was thinking it would be. Some things get a bit overdone but I still really enjoyed it. Now I've been made to watch "Nichijou: My Ordinary Life" by a friend of mine. And it's pretty funny. It's typical slice of life high school stuff but it's SOOOOO random! Sometimes gags fall flat but way more than often they are excellent. I'm only 9 eps in and highly recommend this one. Billy I gave up counting the girls I own, they keep multiplying and won't stop. Galvatim Posted September 15, 2012 Just started K-On! I know, I'm behind the times. It's cute so far. I found K-On! to be cute and fun. I wish the girls played a few more shows in the second season, or at least were shown practicing a little more... But overall, I enjoyed it. i finished up Shiki not to long ago, a creepy and interesting vampire anime, with a mostly realistic setting. Also saw Working!! (Wagnaria!! in the US), which is a cute and fun little show. I started The Scared Blacksmith recently, it seems like a decent fantasy anime.
wotafarce Posted September 15, 2012 Finally managed to get all of the Tasogare Otome X Amnesia episodes with subtitles in HD, so have just finished watching these. Loved the manga and the anime is quite good. Though would have liked more episodes.

PuffsxPlu Posted September 23, 2012 For about the 20th time, I'm reliving my childhood and watching Sailor Moon. I feel like I'm so behind in anime and manga, because I fell out of the culture when I moved to Ohio. I have no bookstores nearby and Shojo Beat abandoned me. I wonder if they'll ever start releasing Shojo Beat again. I'd be the first to subscribe.

Shonen Jump is ok, it's hard to just dive in to some of these long running series. We don't really have any great stores for Manga or anime where I live, so I'd be lost without Crunchyroll and Netflix.
