What Anime are you watching?

Currently I'm rewatching Nanoha from season 1 and also have Shingeki no Kyojin and Karneval in the list. I think there was something else too, but I forgot...I'm waiting for K season 2 and I might watch Fairy Tail also sometime.

I just finished off a few series and started another....

 

Nisemonogatari: While it was a fun show and was animated beautifully, it wasn't nearly as fun and cool as the first series "Bakemonogatari". And the toothbrushing scene was just WEIRD.

 

Mawaru Penguindrum: A seriously odd show that had me lost quite often. The main plot took forever to figure out but near the end of the show it turned out pretty good. It was still a super odd show, not sure I'll rewatch it.

 

I started to watch "High School DxD" and I'm loving it. Demons, fallen angels, BOOBS. What else do you need in a show? LOL Lots of bounce per ounce for sure. 3 eps to go and it's a very entertaining series. Can't wait to see how ecchi the specials are!

SO many! I just finished the dubbed version of High School of the Dead,having watched the regular subtitled version first.

 

I love Kanon,Corpse Princess,Fate Stay Night,Magic Knight Rayearth,etc etc

 

I started watching a couple others,including this ugly yet beautiful world and I still need to finish a few more...LOL

 

I love TMOHS,and Rozen maiden,which I am totally done with.

 

I would love to see a second season of HOTD!!

Watched something else from the DVD backlog and finished it last night - Uta Kata. It's a sorta magical girl anime that gets kinda dark in the last half (though compared to Utena or Madoka, it's not dark at all). It was cute and worth watching, but man. I've never seen such a pointless magical girl. She didn't even really do anything.

eeeeeee I love Uta Kata - well that and any magical girl type show thats not 40+ episodes. The nice 12-14 series are my favs... XD

 

I'm always watching Nichijou, even though I've seen it a million times already - it's just so funny.. but Chihayafuru 2 is the one simulcast show I'm watching now. But Fantasista Doll, the new Sailormoon (whenever that's supposed to come out o__O), and Prism Nana is on my anticipated series list...

 

Anyone ever watched The Twelve Kingdoms (Juuni Kokki)? Hands down one of my top 5 favorite shows... but no one in my neck of the woods has ever seen it.

I'm currently in the process of watching Black Cat and Those Who Hunt Elves with my boyfriend as well as a random one with my roommate called Spiral (Hooray for DVD bargain bins XD!)

Currently rewatching Nana with my boyfriend. I was surprised that he enjoyed it so much, because he has always talked about that it's not his kind of anime. xD

I'm currently watching Strike Witches 2 and it's quite fun, just like the first season was. Who'd have thought cute pantsless girls flying around with guns would be so entertaining?

It's okay. I didn't hate it, but there are better shows in the same genre.

 

I've just finished watching A Certain Magical Index for the first time, and I'm definitely gonna go out a track down the other shows int he series now. Also rewatching Shana for the first time in years, now that it's available on bluray. It's utterly gorgeous, and Shana has been one of my favourite characters since if first saw the series when it originally aired.

What's even showing these days? I am so out of the loop that it's tragic. I think the last halfway new thing I watched was Arcana Famiglia.

A lil strange seeing Shinichiro Watanabe's name as Music Producer and not Director... but the show is still balls-to-the-wall awesome!!

Couple scenes really scream "FLCL"!, but thats only to be expected as the Chara Designer worked animation on that OAV

I've been watching A Certain Scientific Railgun S - season two of Railgun. The series is depressing however, and episode 5 definitely went over the top

If you've enjoyed Haruhi Suzumiya and Bakemonogatari - sans the supernatural elements - you will enjoy this anime.

I started watching "Busou Shinki" the other day and it's really cute. It's about 15cm dolls that are used as household helpers as well as entering in fighting tournaments. And they can equip themselves with different types of armor for flying, driving and stuff like that. Altho I liked the Bikini Armor best.

 

It's fun because it's like seeing tiny DD's running around the house doing cute things.

I've been watching Coyote Ragtime Show and I have to say that it's pretty funny to take everything they say out of context, much to the delight of my yaoi girl sensibilities. Granted the show does not make it hard at all. Also rewatched Nerima Daikon Brothers recently. I still love that show.

Umm... I dunno really. A buddy of mine sends me fansubs on hard drives and I watch them from that. He gets them from torrent sites I think but no clue which ones.

 

I know it's bad to deal with fansubs but sometimes there's no other way to see shows I want to see.

I finally finished up "Eden of the East", that was one oddball but engrossing show. I can see why it was so popular when it came out tho.

 

Now I've started back on "Bakuman" second season. The first season was excellent and I wanted to see more but had to wait a bit for my buddy to find it and send it to me. Now I have all 3 seasons and plan to watch the rest of the series until I'm finished. It's a really fun show about high school kids making manga and then getting serialized in Shonen Jump ( which they call Shonen Jack ). It's really cool, fun and easy to get into even if you know nothing about manga and it's process.

Just finished that too. Quite interesting. Don't know yet if I will watch the movie since I did the mistake of reading about it before I watched the movie. Not a very good idea Never saw Bakuman, maybe I'll try that next. ne thing I wish they'd get around to finishing is Natsume Book of Friends or if they can do Noblesse in anime that would be so awesome.

Been watching The Devil is a Part-Timer as they come out. Also been going through My Bride is a Mermaid. I'd watched about half of it when it was being released in Japan. Picked up the DVD set recently to finish it.
