Anna-neko Posted April 5, 2016 Studio Trigger's newest offering - Kiznaiver! *cough* ok, so officially the show premiers end of week, but we watched 2 eps already... at stupid-early am at AnimeBoston ... sooo, yeah! I'm intrigued by the idea of it (and the terrible triple layered pun that makes up the title: kizu, kizuna, 'naive' ...etc)
Daisy-chan Posted April 12, 2016 I recently finished watching Gakkou Gurashi, which I definitely recommend. It made me cry at every episode, somehow! I just started watching that after seeing the opening online last week. By the end of the first episode, I was absolutely hooked! But, I had to take a break halfway through episode 4 because it got too sad.

I'm intrigued by the idea of it (and the terrible triple layered pun that makes up the title: kizu, kizuna, 'naive' ...etc) I must say that at first I didn't know what to think, I thought it looked a bit dull. But then the further into the first episode I got, the more it lured me it. I'm glad my first impression was wrong, I'm definately looking forward to the next episode At Home: Yoko, Asuna, Nanoha, Kos-Mos, Nia, Fate and Kurisu Incoming: Saber Extra
RyuuseiBJD Posted April 23, 2016 Pfoe, i guess i am currently just following Fairy Tail.... I've seen a bunch of others! But yeah, i had to play a game of 'catch up' with work and what not so that has taken its toll on me watching anime (Meeehh). I am so going to read through this topic to find new animes, hehe... i hope...
mika Posted April 24, 2016 I've been busy lately I couldn't watch any new titles, most recently (this was like 2 months ago) I watched Prison School (Kangoku Gakuen) it's kinda my first eechii anime since I'm not really into this genre, my friend recommended me this title and I thought I should give it a try because the plot sounds interesting. I did and I thought it was kinda good haha. well... I might be digging for more eechii soon.
Galvatim Posted April 26, 2016 I caught up with Fairy Tail a few weeks ago, and am waiting impatiently for Funimation to put episode 278 and beyond up on Funimation Channel... I picked up the official Macross F Blu-Ray movie set with English subs, which was awesome, Macross Plus OVA set, and a bootleg Do You Remember Love? DVD (probably the Clash of the Bioniods version), and now I'm watching Robotech, out of some sort of desperation. The Masters saga is great for insomnia... I'm looking forward to watching the up coming Blu-ray release of Macross Delta, which will have English subs! Not looking forward to paying for it so much... Galvatim Posted April 26, 2016 Amiami's listing. http://slist.amiami.com/top/detail/detail?gcode=MED-DVD2-32334&page=top%2Fsearch%2Flist%3Fs_keywords%3DMacross+delta%24pagemax%3D15%24getcnt%3D0%24pagecnt%3D1 It really is good news. I'm glad Japan is taking advantage of being in the same Blu-ray region as the US. Now if they could just get those prices down a bit...
Gabriel Posted April 26, 2016 Pre-ordered. Even if the series ends up not being very good, it will probably have decent music and epic Valkyrie fights. And I have waited a long time for this. I'm a Robotech fan. Historically, I've borne no animosity towards Harmony Gold. But the last decade of their shenanigans has turned even me sour to them. Anything that allows Macross to cirbleepvent them is now completely welcome in my book. Looks like starting this summer, I'll be watching Macross Delta. Hopefully I can get through it without wanting to see Freya and Hayate violently murdered.

Macross 7 was horrible garage, NO other Macross/Robotech vocal soundtrack will never top this one. Macross Frontier.. recycle story line again this is why GUNDAM is the KING of the Japanese Mech boys... someone needs to by the rights from Harmony Gold and do justice for Robetech/Macross fan here in the States
Galvatim Posted May 10, 2016 I finished School Days last night. The ending was somewhat shocking, but has nothing on the Corpse Party anime.
Jess-kane Posted May 14, 2016 I'm watching so many right now, but my main ones are Kiznaiver and Bungo Stray Dogs atm. Also Space Patrol Luluco for laughs
Neuroman Posted May 18, 2016 I just finished Shōwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjū. My first josei series and it has been a very good one at that. Being able to hear translated rakugo has been a real treat. I highly recommend it. The rivalry as well as brotherly bond between the two male protagonists drives the series so well. --F

baldylox Posted July 9, 2016 I just finished up "Overlord" and it was quite fun. I hate that it had no ending and left things wide open for a (hopeful) second season. The one bit I seriously about died laughing at was in the last episode..... there was a huge magic fight between two powerful foes and one of them used a magic spell that produced.... A SHARKNADO. It wasn't meant to be ironic either, it was totally done seriously in the middle of the fight. THAT is what made me roll in laughter. Billy I gave up counting the girls I own, they keep multiplying and won't stop.
syntaxerawr Posted July 10, 2016 It's just Koutetsujuo no Kabaneri for me. Didn't get to catch it while it was airing last season, so I'm sort of finishing it right now. :3 ✪ ☆ ☆ ☆ ✪ ☆ ☆ ☆ ✪ ☆ ☆ ☆ ✪ ☆ ☆ ☆ ✪ SyntaxErawr on Instagram! | Yoki (SmartDoll Mirai) | Kiyiya (DD Hatsune Miku) | Kagali (DD DDH-06) | ✪ ☆ ☆ ☆ ✪ ☆ ☆ ☆ ✪ ☆ ☆ ☆ ✪ ☆ ☆ ☆ ✪
baldylox Posted July 30, 2016 I finally had some time today to watch some anime movies I had been wanting to see for ages! First, I watched the Makoto Shinkai show "Garden of Words". It was a very short movie, only about 45 minutes but it was just like all his other works.... full of the feels. I didn't think it would get to me as much as it did but I've come to realize this: Makoto Shinkai movie = YOU WILL CRY YOUR EYES OUT. So far it's held true for me. LOL Next up I decided to go for something I knew wouldn't give me The Feels so I watched "The Boy and The Beast". It was a really great show and the animation was nice too. The story is solid and the characters amazing. But what I didn't expect was... THE FEELS. Damn them! Cropping up right when I didn't expect them! But that's okay, they fit in well where they showed up and made an good movie even better. Billy I gave up counting the girls I own, they keep multiplying and won't stop. SylvanJade Posted August 1, 2016 Well, last week I tried watching Ranma 1/2 because those comics were what got me interested in Japan back in High School.... But wow. By today's standards, that show is slow! It's full of awkward pauses and wonderful corny sound effects. Maybe I'll stick to the comics on this one - it still has me cry with laughter. So next will probably be catching up on Fairytale or rewatch Inuyusha again. Maybe if i feel adventurous, ill see what the latest Pokemon season looks like. So many anime and so little time... *sigh*
Poofiemus Posted August 1, 2016 I've begun my annual anime binge, starting with Flying Witch. (Seems I tend to do anime in binges, rather than trying to keep up with each season. *shrug*) Flying Witch is SO cute. . .but weirdly, the derpy main Makoto reminds me of my mom. In this household, sanity is considered a tresspasser.

Maybe I'll stick to the comics on this one - it still has me cry with laughter. The first "season" is terrible (first 12 episodes or so?) but then the show picks a good pace and is pretty much the manga chapters with colors and music! .... until 100eps in it just starts to really drag. But unfortunately, by this point you recognize the Rumiko pattern of neverending shenanigans and no real ending Anyways, I'm here rewatching Monthly Girls Nozaki-kun, in dubbed form This show continues to be a frellin GIFT to shoujo tropes comedy, continuing to hope season2 will happen some day
StrongStyle87 Posted August 6, 2016 I have not kept up with recent titles, not enough time or motivation anymore. I would say that I am trying to catch up with the Fate series. Definitely looking forward to Heaven's Feel arc.
amarilian Posted September 9, 2016 Actually I finished watching most of the anime series I started this season. I finished Nisekoi. Now just it's just a waiting game. Now if they would just hurry up and get god eater series updated! These are the dolls you're looking for, no you cannot haz them they r mine:)
SolicitorPirate Posted September 13, 2016 Haven't really followed anime much in years. I do make a point of watching anything Imaishi directs though, so Kill la Kill and Soace Patrol Luluco are about the only anime I've watched recently
sleepywolf Posted September 13, 2016 Must admit I've found this year's selection of animes to be rather meh! Akagami no Shirayuki-hime (Snow White with the Red Hair) and Flying Witch were both quite enjoyable though. Lately I've rewatched some golden oldies: Fullmetal Panic. Priceless! Never gets old Seikai no Monshou/Senki (Crest/Banners of the Stars). Really makes modern animes seem quite bland (at least in my humble oppinion). baldylox Posted September 13, 2016 I just started watching "Ushio and Tora" and I must say it's quite fun. It's your standard monster of the week deal so far but the interaction between the two main characters is awesome. And the style and look of the show screams classic 90's anime so it's pretty fun to see a slick and pretty version of that.
