I randomly picked up Kuma Miko while waiting on the next season of anime and I must say its rather endearing so far~ Other than that... other than Shokugeki no Souma I haven't watched much this past season @_@; I still need to get to watching Orange sometime...

Watching Macross Delta. Volume 3 should arrive late this week.

I need to get back to watching Gundam X. I stalled out on that one.

That Orguss box set which keeps popping up in my Amazon recommendations is starting to looking tempting too.

Finally finished up "Ushio and Tora", that one turned out to be fun and had a few cool twists to it. Then I watched "Food Wars" season 2. Not quite as cool as the first season but still fun. Now I'm watching "The Morose Mononokean". It's kinda cute and definitely fun, has a very "Natsumes Book of Friends" feel to it.

Currently watching One Punch Man and Hunter x Hunter. They're both excellent! I like the wry humor in One Punch Man, but I'm worried it will start having "too many characters" syndrome.

Re-starting Mushi-shi and have been looking to start watching either the Macross series or Gundam. My partner is like, really really into Gundam and gave me a bunch of recommendations but the only titles I can remember are "Turn A Gundam" and "War in the Pocket"... I need to ask him to re-explain

Decided to go back and try to watch some of the early 2000 series I never saw. I watched the first episodes of Lucky Star, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, and Umineko no Naku Koro ni, but the only one that actually caught my attention was Umineko, so that's what I'm watching now.

Also keeping up with Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron Blooded Orphans and RWBY (it's not anime, but... well, it's close). Just finished Yuri on Ice and Hataraku Maou-sama, and planning to try to power through Yu-Gi-Oh! GX sometime soon...

There's too many, lol.

I started watching "Yowamushi Pedal" over the holidays and found myself glued to the TV for 2 full days and 30 episodes. It's an excellent show about a kid who finds he likes bicycles and makes his first real friends within a cycling club at high school. The characters are awesome, the animation is really good and the depth they go into on different styles of cycling and how things actually work and why are both fun and informative.

I have like 7 or 8 more eps to go in this season then it's on to the movie, OVA and then second season. I highly recommend this to anyone who likes bicycles, fun shows, high school comedies with some serious points thrown in the mix and for anyone who likes rooting for the little guy to win.

I LOVE Yowamushi Pedal! It's ridiculously fun, I don't think I dislike any of the characters and it's the only long-running sports anime that doesn't put me to sleep (I've tried multiple times to get into Haikyu cos the fans always seem like they're having so much fun but I just cant do it, volleyball is just that uninteresting to me)

I did enjoy Yuri on Ice a lot but I also find ice skating enjoyable to watch, and it doesn't have 5 million episodes.

There's just something ABOUT YowaPeda, you know? Always makes me want to get off my lazy ass and go cycling. I need a new bike though.

I finally finished up Yowamushi Pedal and it was awesome. It did take two forevers to get thru that one race but it was well done and really made me happy as a viewer.

Now that the NEW season of it is airing, I can't wait to watch it since all the freshmen will now be juniors and their senpais will be seniors.

Too many to list, but I have finally gotten around to watching The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. Not sure why I kept putting it off, I'm loving it. K-On too. But for one I feel out of the loop as to what will be airing this summer. It's kind of shocking. But anymore I just wait a couple weeks after the season has started and then look up one of the anime news sites that lists a quick review of all the shows and then I pick from that.

I finished Cross Ange. I was introduced to the series through Super Robot Wars V, and bought the Blu Rays since I liked the mechs (Para-Mails).

It was pretty good. It seemed like an update of Str.A.In. which I also liked. Ange was a mostly well done character for a modern anime. I liked Vivian, Salia, and Salamandinay a lot. Embryo was suitably vile to make me want to watch him be dispatched. I even liked Tusk a bit, even though he positively dripped of male audience placeholder. It was a bit light on the mecha action, but the last few episodes mostly made up for that.

I wasn't a fan of the random tone shifts. To be honest, THE SCENE at the end of the first episode cast a pall over the entire series for me. The first few episodes cast certain characters in a light where it was completely impossible to have any sympathy for them later on. Then there's the fanservice...

I don't have any problem with fanservice. One of my favorite shows is Agent Aika, which is flatly an experiment to see how many pantyshots can be put in an OAV. That said there is a lasciviousness in the Cross Ange fanservice scenes which makes them unpalatable. Even still, I have to say that the omnipresent lechery of the series does set up a couple of bits at the end which are plot relevant and insanely rewarding. There's a particular exchange between enemies which just wouldn't work at all if the series had not possessed a pervy edge throughout.

Even with it's flaws, I definitely liked it better than Macross Delta.

I still need to get back to Gundam X, but recently I purchased Blu Ray versions of Martian Successor Nadesico, Gundam Z, and Gundam 0083. I'll probably rewatch at least one of them first.

(I'd rather be watching Yamato 2202. It's extremely disappointing that Bandai didn't do English subs on their Blu Ray releases)

I just finished Martian Successor Nadesico recently. I enjoyed it as it reminded be a lot of Robotech, which was the 1st mecha anime I ever saw all of when I 1st got into anime.

Watching Sekaisuru Kado and Boku no Hero Academia right now while gearing up for next season...

Kakegurui, the ufotable Touken Ranbu anime, Made in Abyss and Jigoku Shoujo 4 are my current pics and I'm praying it's going to be good until Fall comes in because I'm just disappointed in the industry for the most part right now.

My real question is... if Jigoku Shoujo is getting a season 4 now and Kino no Tabi is getting a second one after all these years in the Fall... what are the chances we are going to see a new season of Spice & Wolf... ? (I am reading the novels, I would just love to see it animated also...) Oh well, a girl can dream...

I finished Cross Ange.

The thing about Cross ange is that it is a Sunrise in-between gundams series, where they tend to go nuts on occasion when they blow off steam, resulting in some amusing stuff (Like My Hime which was basicly Madoka magica before it was a thing for deconstructive magical girl stuff)... when ange came out initially I prognosed it as Bankok hilton meets Southern cross.

Rewatched it off discs a few months back and was still very entertaining, Ange is just about right as a heroine when she goes into full Ghenhis Khan mode, and makes no excuses about it.

Same type of sunrise serving with extra sillyness can be found with Horizon in the middle of nowhere, which will make Ange seem well adjusted in some fields.

I think the only time Sunrise ever went ballistic with their main IP, gundam was Iron blood orphans which was quite good, even with a whiff of yaoiness.

But back to more series in recent events ... I think the best was saved for last for what crunchy had to offer on the european side, which was SukaSuka (World end: Are you busy? will you save us?), even though overall nothing that had not been seen to date, but its impressive use of Scarborough fair for its last episode topping this season in the end.

But good gravy, the FEELS. Why oh why do I keep falling for these tragic rom-coms? It is my fav out of this season for sure.

Of all the new series premieres this month, the one that's got me the most excited is Made in Abyss. It's so beautiful I was moved. I hear things get really messed up, so that should be...fun, I guess. It's definitely the show of the season for me so far, based on first episode judgements.

I am enjoying what I've seen of Fate/Apocrypha too.

It's been a while for me since I got to sit down and actually watch any anime. But I was able to start the series "Interviews with Monster Girls" last week and I must say it's one of the most adorable shows I've seen in years! The premise is basic but the characters are so much fun! Especially the one teacher who is a succubus.... she does everything she can to look frumpy and dull so she doesn't affect any male students or teachers with her sexy powers and it's so cute how she interacts with everyone. I adore her!

I've been watching Love Live but I keep getting distracted so it's taking a while to finish. I'm also obsessed with My Hero Academia. Really wanna get the manga. All the characters are pretty great. (though I can't get over the fact that there's a dude that wears jeans... on his face.)

There are a lot of anime that I've been meaning to watch but haven't got around to.

Just watched the 1st episode last night. Seems like it'll be a cute fun show. I hope it doesn't go all School-Live! on us. Not that I didn't enjoy School-Live!, it's just that going dark doesn't seem to fit Made In Abyss.

It just gets better. I loved it, and was so happy with episode 13 came out. I'm hoping for a second season.

As for this season, nothing has really caught my eye yet as something that I'm really going to enjoy, but everything hasn't started yet, so we'll see. I may get a chance to diminish my backlog.
