Moments Part 4: Saber/Aya

Merry Christmas, all! Unfortunately, Santa seems to have lost my request to send you all full set of every DD ever made. Instead, please accept the latest installment of my story as a rather poor replacement.

 

I'd just like to thank those who read and comment on my stories as well as all those who post their own stories/pictures on here. Thanks to all of you for making this a better board. I can be a bit lax on posting at times, but wanted to let you know that you are all appreciated by me.

 

 

Phyla: Excuse me, but Saber wishes to speak with you. Should this one let her in?

 

 

Aya: I suppose we do need to chat a bit. Be a dear and let her in.

 

 

Phyla: This one can stay if needed.

 

 

Aya: I'm sure we'll be fine, dear. Don't worry.

 

 

Phyla: Yes. She will be fine. Is that not correct?

 

Saber: Don't worry.

 

 

Phyla: Very well. This one will be nearby if needed.

 

 

Aya: Sorry. She's a bit over-protective. Now, are you going to stand there all day or are we going to talk? I believe I'm way overdue for some answers about what's been going on here.

 

 

Saber: Sorry. I could truthfully say that I've had to take care of a lot of things, but the truth is that I've been avoiding this.

 

 

Aya: So, should we get it over with and relieve you a bit? I know I have plenty of questions.

 

 

Aya: Now, I've heard a few bits and pieces from the others, but I want to hear the whole story from you.

 

 

Saber: Yes. It all started...

 

Saber grows through her life story, including talking about Morgaine and Guinevere.

 

Some time later....

 

 

Aya: That's..definitely a bit to take in. If I hadn't seen what I'd seen with my eyes, I'd think you were insane. But basically, what you're saying is that you were King Arthur and a cross-dresser. Your sister was a nut job who wanted to be Queen and tried to kill you for that.

 

 

Saber: Yes. That pretty much sums it up.

 

 

Aya: So, what are you not still not telling me?

 

Saber: I...don't know what you mean.

 

 

Aya: You're a shitty liar, dear. You haven't told me how I got dragged into this. That's a pretty big hole in your story.

 

 

Saber: I told you about Guinevere. What I didn't say is that you look just like her.

 

 

Aya: Oh? So, she was stunningly gorgeous as well?

 

Saber: Yes, she was. And Morgaine used you to get to me.

 

Aya: How? Just because she happened to look like me?

 

 

Saber: Maybe. But I think you may be her reincarnation. You said that you appeared on the same day that I was reincarnated. That can't be a coincidence. You could be her..or...

 

 

Aya: Or? There's a third possibility? And from your hesitation, it sounds even worse.

 

 

Saber: Morgaine made a duplicate of me before. An artificial lifeform that she called Mordred. It nearly succeeded in killing me. Instead of making you do all this...she could have...made you.

 

 

Aya: So, on top of everything else, I could be an evil clone, you're saying. Anything else? Is Zoe my daughter from an alternate future as well? This is just so surreal.

 

 

Saber: I'm so sorry. This is all my fault. Because of this, you were dragged into this. I'm so sorry.

 

*breaks into tears*

 

 

Aya: Saber, stop that. Sit up and listen to me. I have two things to say to you.

 

 

Aya: The first is that you are you and your sister is your sister. You can't control her. You can only control yourself and do what's right. There's no need for her to forgive you for what she did. Understand?

 

Saber: Yes.

 

Aya: Now, as for the second...

 

 

WHAP!

 

 

Aya: That's for lying to me and keeping things from me. THAT you could control.

 

 

Aya: I'm sorry. This is going to hurt, but you need to hear this. I'm not your wife. I don't love you like that. I'm sure your Gwen was a wonderful person, but I'm not her.

 

 

Saber: *sobbing*

 

 

Aya: Sit up, dear. Women shouldn't cry. It ruins our makeup.

 

 

Saber: *sniffling* Yes, ma'am.

 

 

Aya: Saber, we've lived together in this house for a while now. I believe that you're a good person and I do care about you. I also think we can still be friends if you want. Do you?

 

Saber: Yes, I do.

 

 

Aya: There's only one thing.

 

Saber: Yes?

 

 

Aya: If you ever, EVER, lie to me again...

 

 

Aya: I will rip your ovaries out and make myself a new garter belt. Am I clear?

 

 

Saber: Yes.

 

Aya: Good.

 

 

Aya: Now, come here.

 

After a nice, long hug...

 

 

Aya: Hmm...though, you know. "Queen Aya" does have a nice ring to it, doesn't it? *laughs*

 

Saber: *laugh*

 

 

Saber: It feels good to be able to laugh about this. I've been dreading talking to you. I feel like a weight's been lifted.

 

 

Aya: See? Much better to be open and honest about things. Don't be like Zoe. Speak of which, where is the little malcontent?

 

 

Saber: She went with Master to pick up Morgaine. She's...being released today.

 

 

Aya: Oh. I...see. And where will she be going now?

 

 

Saber: She needs help...and she's reaching out. I can't abandon her. I...I know I don't have the right to ask anything of you, but if there's any way that we can work it out...

 

 

Saber: I'd like to bring her here. I think we can help her.

 

 

Aya: I see. And what if I don't want her here? I don't remember all of what she did. My memories are hazy which is what really makes me mad. My memories of here are precious. She took some of them away from me. How can I forgive that?

 

 

Saber: Then, we'll leave. We've put you through enough already.

 

 

Aya: I don't know if I can stand seeing her again. I'm not saying no..yet. I need time to think.

 

 

Saber: I understand. Whatever you decide, I will understand and will only think the best of you. Even if you aren't Gwen, I still care about you.

 

 

Aya: *sigh* I need some time alone to think. When Darling gets back, please have him come see me. It's his decision as well.

 

 

Saber: I understand.

Ooh, interesting! I really liked the dialogue between the two of them. Once again, I'm enjoying this story and can't wait to see what will happen.

Thanks. My goal is to get through this series before I go back to work next week, so hopefully you won't have long to wait.
