My girls get their first ever holiday gift!

When I got home today, I checked the mailbox and found a small box with my name on it. I am waiting on some stuff I ordered from overseas but this is nowhere near the right size for whats coming.

 

Then I saw the return address on it and thought, "Hmm, why does this name sound so familiar?" Then it hit me.... The box was from Mitsuki! Oh, I rushed inside and got the girls together because I *KNEW* something cool was hiding inside. And boy was I right!

 

Even tho I knew who it was from, I didn't know what to expect and I decided to mess with the girls a little first.

 

Alright now, who the heck ordered something online without my permission?? Was it you Manami?

 

M - "No way! The last time I looked for your wallet, I couldn't find it... Uh oh..."

 

No wonder I hide my wallet now.

 

 

Well, if noone is claiming responsibility, I guess I'll have to open it and see what it is.

 

M - "No problem Papa, I'll open it."

 

What? Where DO you hide things like that Manami?

 

M - "Nevermind that, stand back.."

 

 

Ok, so what's in there yall? Pull the stuff out, it won't bite.

Hey Tsubaki, is that a note that came inside?

 

T - "Yep, it sure is!"

 

 

Can you read it for me?

 

T - "Sure!"

 

 

T - "Hey look Uncle Billy, it says I get some of these! Yay!"

 

It sure does! Now lets see what we got. Oh Yoko, that's a very pretty box you have.

 

Y - "Isn't it tho?"

 

 

Go ahead and open it for us Yoko.

 

Y - "Okay! Oooo look! Cookies!"

 

Rei - "Oh my, those are actually sized for us! I have never had pumpkin before."

 

 

Hey Manami, what are you hiding over there?

 

M - "Nuthin!"

 

Oh come on, I can see those are big cookies, those are the ones Sakura-chan said were for me.

 

M - "Nah, I doubt it Papa. You can have my share of the small ones and I'll take these."

 

*Sigh* Come on now, we can't spoil your supper. Let's just try out the small ones for now. I'll go get yall some plates.

 

 

Alright, now that everyone has 4 cookies, lets see what you think. Tsubaki, how are they?

 

T - "Yummy! These rock!"

 

 

And what do you think Manami?

 

M - "Mffhh rrr prttt guddd mm CHOMP"

 

 

Ok, I'll take that you like them....

 

Rei, how about you?

 

R - "Well, I can taste the pumpkin for sure. I also detect some cinnamon and possibly nutmeg."

 

You didn't need to analyze them Rei, I just wanted to know if you liked them.

 

R - "Oh. Well then, yes. I like them. A lot."

 

 

Y - "These are great Papa! Who sent them again?"

 

 

Mitsuki's daughter Sakura made these for us. Remember seeing her post online about them? You guys saw that and liked her nekomimi and her dress.

 

Y - "Oh yeah! I remember! Sakura-chan was a cutie!"

 

Yes she is Yoko.

 

Now how about all of you look at the camera and tell Sakura-chan and Mitsuki thank you.

Seriously, this absolutely made my day. As soon as I saw who this package was from, I knew there was some fun to be had tonight! I didn't even crack open the box before I went and got the girls together for a photoshoot.

 

Mitsuki, you are the best! I loved the pumpkin cookies! They were very tasty and I had to fight Manami for just one of the larger ones! She kept the others...

 

When I saw your post the other day, I wondered who Sakura was making those for and I secretly wished it was me and the girls. It looks like my wish came true! THANK YOU SO MUCH for sending these wonderful cookies to us. That was extremely nice of you to do and we all enjoyed them greatly. I hope you enjoy the pictures as much as we enjoyed eating all those cookies!

Manami was all about those big cookies! She finally let me have ONE of them and kept the other ones. And Rei just keeps on messing with me more and more. But she's adorable nonetheless.

 

Thanks again Mitsuki, you did a very nice thing for me and I appreciate it bigtime. Getting this really did make my day.

 

And the small cookies are now GONE. They got inhaled by the girls altho I did clean up the leftovers...

That's so cute that they ate them all! My friend just gave me a cake pan designed to look like a giant cupcake. I will have to try it. Plus, I have to try making some peanut butter cookies too.

After the first few cookies got eaten, I knew they would not last the night. They were way too tasty to let sit around! I do still have the 3 large ones tho and I plan to have those at work tomorrow as treats throughout the day.

 

And that giant cupcake thing sounds cool! I'd be interested to see what that turns out like altho I now want to see 1/3 scaled cupcakes even more!

 

Oh, peanut butter cookies are my weakness! Any time I make them at home, I wind up eating half the mix before I can actually cook any! I'm so bad with those.... but I love them!
