Dolls Party 28 After Event!!!

I wonder how many they will sell. Surely it can't be loads or it would make the lottery pointless.

I doubt there will be many. Who knows though, maybe Volks has set aside a few dolls for this event.

Hopefully more than just a handful so that some of us who lost out on their desired doll multiple times will have another shot at purchasing them. I really want Melty so much, but I'm trying to keep myself from getting overly excited since things might not go smoothly especially if there is very little stock on hand. It helps though that they are spreading the items & dolls out across multiple times so their servers won't be crashing as bad as they usually do (though I still expect it to crash some).

I especially like this sentence:

LOL. I'll try my luck tomorrow in the early morning though. If I should loose there as well, then I guess I can accept that as my fate.

So... with these click wars, if you get the doll in your cart, does that mean you're safe? Or can someone else snap it up while you're going through the check out?

Sadly not, when Volks site gets hammered it starts logging people out and clearing their carts, it can't handle too many sessions.

So if I get a girl in my cart I should check out immediately?

I thought supposedly whatever you put into your cart should stay in there but I've had server crashes that cleared my cart.

I thought I'd try for Aoko, and get some supplies at the same time. I got the supplies in my cart now, lets hope they stay there...

I'd recommend it. IF you get to the checkout. I've had the cart cleared in the MIDDLE of a checkout once.

That's the thought behind it, but their system can only handle a limited number of clients at the same time. I believe they've been working on improving the system ever since they launched the "new" website so who knows how it will go this time...

Last week I put a low-stock item into my cart. The item then said out-of-stock for both me and on a friend's computer.

 

When I removed the item from my cart, it then said the item was in-stock!

The hands have been in stock for ages. Seems like no click war on some of the items at least.

Not able to checkout for some reason.

 

EDIT: Got my order through. Seemed more like a loading war than a click war!

 

What's everyone gone for?

I won the "Marching Band Ruffled Skirt Set". ^^

Was only after the two kitty ear bondage sets (escapes me totally why they call them those, apart for the lock and key necklaces...), and managed to grab those. also a pair of normal rock hands to go with them...

 

First time doing this, and having to do my work a little earlier on the weekend to be able to sit down at 4:30 for it to begin.. heh.

I went for the "Marching Band Ruffled Skirt Set" took it's time to load but I got it!

Kitty ear bondage set sure was popular!

 

 

My strat: I timed how long it took to refresh the page 5 minutes before. Then I refreshed the page just at the right time so everything would appear bang on 11:30. It worked

Store after event. Chances for a doll felt only slightly better than the Dolpa itself.

 

Dolls sold out way before my number in line. Store I go to always has you draw a number, so it doesn't matter how early you get there. You're not guaranteed a doll either way. My Volks number drawing at events has so far been consistent - very meh.

Perhaps it was just the dolls that people didn't pay for in the lottery after all.

Same. Site was just getting hammered. I got the Add to Cart button, but after I clicked it, it said sold out.

Sigh~ 3 friend to help, lost the war.

Sold out so fast...

Loaded page right when it started, took forever to load... "click Add to Cart"... "This item is sold out."

 

I want to cry...
