Hi everyone, my name is Juanita, but please feel free to call me Anita as most people do.

 

I'm pretty new to the world of Dollfie Dreams, actually I'm still in the process of getting myself the first one. Unluckily for me though Volks Int. is constantly out of stock when it comes to DDDy Miko . But well, I'll be waiting patiently for the moment she shall be available again .

 

Until now I mainly collected Obitsus and Pullips, but I sold my last ones so that I can hopefully soon get my my dream Dollfie. Oh, I almost forgot, but I also own resin BJDs. I don't do much with them lately though. Their body is such a huge let down compared with my Obitsus. I'm really excited and hope that I'll like the DDs

Welcome! If you're desperate and willing to pay a higher price I think dollfie world had some DDdy Miko in stock last time I checked. I wouldn't really recommend it, but it is an option!

DDs are a great choise you wont regret it ^__^

Sporkaroni, thanks for letting me know. Actually I've never heard of dollfie world before. Are they a trustworthy site? From your description I gather that they are some sort of scalpers? Like those eBay sellers that wold buy limited dolls and sets only to flip them for double the price afterwards?

 

Anouc, oh, I really hope I won't regret it. But looking at the second hand market I guess that at least I should be able to sell her again if I figure out that she shouldn't be right for me. But I hope it will work out for the dollfie and me .

Yes, they are actually very reliable and actually have a pretty decent selection items that you may also be interested in as well. I wouldn't necessarily call them scalpers but they definitely have a mark up on everything. They're just not as bad as the 100% scalpers. haha

You can also try to get her through Volks USA in the click war for DD Gathering 2012 and October Collection 2012 event.

Getting her through Volks USA is quite impossible as they only ship to North America as far as I know. And I never had good luck with click wars, guess my internet connection is horribly lame.

 

I've checked dollfie world by the way and maybe I'm doing something wrong, but it appears to me as if Miko is sold out there, too? When I realized that yesterday I spontaneously decided that I'll try my luck with Aoko in the After Event instead. In case I don't win her, I'll have to continue to stalk Volks Int. for Miko.

I don't think you did anything wrong on the Dollfie World website, but it looks like they had sold out since the last time I checked their website. Sorry about that!

Sporkaroni, please don't worry , I actually appreciate your kind help very much . I've bookmarked dollfie world now, too. Who knows, maybe they'll have her back in stock sooner? I just looked at their prices and did the math yesterday. Considering that they're based in HK, have a physical doll store and accept layaway, too, makes them an interesting option for me after all.
