Santa's gifts to my girls

The finale is here! This is the last installment of Christmas photos for my girls.

 

Everyone has opened their presents and are relaxing a bit.

Thank you very much Mitsuki! I've actually had that bed for a while now but never used it because it was too small for my DD girls. I had almost forgotten about it until my Mom gave me that comforter.... it was actually made by my Grandmother YEARS ago. I'm not sure if it was designed for dolls to use but it fits the bed really well so I'm glad I have it and can use it.

 

I'm glad you enjoyed the pics of the girls. It's good to know all the work made someone smile.

This whole set of stories was really amazing. I can't even begin to contemplate how long it must have taken, or how much work went into it. This was truly a great Christmas present. The girls were all so adorable. even the ones I don't normally pay as much attention to were fantastic. All of your new gals seem to be fitting in very nicely. It's great to see everybody getting along so well and having so much fun together.

It did take a really long time to do them all, I pu tin about 8 hours on Saturday and another 2.5 on Sunday doing them. And my knees hate me for it.

 

I'm glad you enjoyed everyone, even your non-faves. The new girls do seem to be fitting in well so far but maybe that's because they were adopted around the holidays and everyone is in very nice moods.... LOL

I don't think anybody hates the stories. I think it's partly to do with timing, EVERYBODY is ultra busy this time of year. I know that at least a few of us work retail, and our jobs just get insane around the holidays, not to mention family obligations, school, everyone doing their own Christmas stories, etc... Also, extra long stories can be a little overwhelming to get through and reply to. By the time you're finished it's hard to remember the bits at the beginning that you wanted to comment on. I think the same thing tends to happen to SK when she posts longer stories, as well. I know I love reading really long stories, but I always have a terrible time knowing what to say afterwards. Finally, with so many new Holiday photo stories all coming out at the same time, I know that for some it can be very hard to read through them all, let alone reply to all of them. I know I haven't gotten to nearly all of the ones I've wanted to, especially between my new job and my hard drive deciding to kick the bucket.

 

So, don't take the low number of replies too personally. I think you've made a lot of people very happy, it's just kind of crazy around here right now.

 

I do hope your knees forgive you, eventually. Knees, along with backs, can be some of the least pleasant body parts to have annoyed with you.

Thank you for the kind explanation Raven. I know people are busy and all and that's not a big deal. It's just disheartening to see something you poured your time and effort into kinda get ignored. But I largely do these stories for me so I don't take anything personally unless I get comments attacking my girls. That would really suck. But that rarely happens so no biggie.

 

I'm not in this to get attention and comments tho, I'm here to have fun and make friends and enjoy my girls as well as others girls. So I'm not down about low comment numbers or anything like that. I just figured I'd say what was on my mind since I feel at home here and have lots of people I think of as good friends here. And your comments above prove that very well. Thank you again sir, I do appreciate it.

Thank you! The air hockey table was from Walmart, they had them out right after Thanksgiving along with pool tables for $9.95 and since I have a pool table for them already, I grabbed this one. The skateboard is from a Taobao seller but I didn't buy it, Misskale got it for me since she was doing an order thru them anyway. So I don't know the exact seller of it. But I think they come up on ebay so you may want to check there if you're after one.

I order stuff for my lolita fashion habbit as well from there but It is a little easier from the few stores I use because no shopping service is needed. But I am not sure about the DD stores...Or even which to use.

Thank you very much! I know I tend to do a lot of stories and osmetimes I get overwhelmed with them. I think doing all these kinda wore me thin and I had to take a break from them for a bit. But I'll get back to doing them soon. I'm glad you like my stories and I appreciate all your comments to them. Ha ha! If you wanted to know what head she was you could have just asked me you silly person! She is indeed a Mikuru and I find her totally un-Mikuru-like. LOL Compared to the anime version of Mikuru, this head mold doesn't really remind me of her much. But that's the great thing about Elisabeth, she's ALWAYS been Elisabeth to me and she stays that way because she couldn't be anyone else.

 

And thank for the compliments on Elisabeth... even tho I love my MDD girls because of their cuteness, Elisabeth will always be my number one girl for super cute power!

I was pretty sure that the sculpt wasn't named Elizabeth, but when Raven and I do run across the sculpt we call it the Elizabeth head. Every time I see your Elizabeth I think how cute she is and it's a sculpt I might want to track down someday. She (the sculpt) really needs to be around more!

I totally agree with you about her not being around enuff. I think she's way cute *IF* you don't have her as Mikuru and do like Salica did and give her a different persona. Elisabeth DOES act a bit like Mikuru tho with how she's kind of shy and doesn't like scary stuff but she's opened up a bit more due to having a large, protective family and sisters like Sango that keep an eye out for her.

 

I'd love to see more people with Mikuru girls around as I really enjoy seeing how people setup girls that I own. Like when I see how other Mai DD's look, it's cool as heck to know how different she can look but still be a Mai.

 

And as a bonus, here's Elisabeth being totally silly and adorable!
