Pokemon X & Y

anybody else excited they finally released pokebank and poketransfer the other day? thats where most of my time has been these last few days trying to get all those little buggers transferred over from all the other games i have :p

Yup! All happy I could use the Poke-Bank and Poke-Transfer to get my shiny Ninetales stuck in Poke White into Pokemon Y. Such a beauty! Haven't really found a reason to go back, except that. I always have trouble going back to Pokemon games once I beat the main storyline chain.

I really need to get back to playing Pokemon X. I haven't finished the storyline yet.

 

Anyone care to share who they have on their team currently? Favorite Gen 6 Pokemon?

ill go back to the old games, mostly to capture legendaries again or get pokemon with movetypes that cant be learned in the new gens. but thats really the only reasons.

I haven't played in a while, but I have Y. ^^ I need to get back into it, and when I do, I'll post my FC. I misplaced my 3DS so I'm not sure what it is at the moment.

Nintendo's doing a thing where you can get Pokemon X or Y for free if you register your 3DS and buy/own a certain game (including Animal Crossing). Unfortunately, I don't play those sorts of game so it's not worth it for me >_<

 

I haven't played Y in a while, but I've been replaying Heart Gold. It's a little hard to go back to the older graphics now, ha ha.

You have to register an account and for the first time before the end of the month register a new system [[can be 3ds/3ds xl /2ds]]

 

Then you must register one of the 6 games that qualify. You get a download code afterwards.

Also be very careful to connect your club nintendo account with your hand held system before you buy anything online!! It will not count otherwise. !

 

I'm glad I saved my system registration until now. I plan on buying Animal Crossing and getting myself a copy of Y. I already run X so it will be nice to have another one I can start again and again for training my pokes.

Some odd reason seeing the word pokemon reminded me I still need to clean out of all my original pokemon figures, cards and plushies from my 90's collecting days

The last time I played at Pokemon it was in the first generation (I think gold or silver). But on the advice of several friends, I bought Pokemon X for curiosity .. And finally, I like it a lot... Almost 100 hours of game (

I really love the water type pokemon, and the new fairy types.

I've got 3 3DSs (one for each region) and picked up a second hand copy of Y when in Japan.

Turns out the previous owner didn't wipe the game before selling it so the boxes are full of high level Japanese pokes.

I can't read Japanese though and the only way to change languages is to wipe the game.

So now I'm torn.

Do I go through the horribly long process of trading them all over to one of my other two copies?

Or do I wipe the game and start again?

Just get Pokemon bank (it's $5) and put them on there then erase the game. Only thing that won't help with is mega evolution stones so if you have a friend with the game trade those over to them first. Otherwise find them all again later.
