baldylox Posted January 14, 2013 One goal I had for a while was to get all of my girls their own kimono and not counting my MDD's, I was only one short of that. But this Xmas I was able to finally get my last kimono for Sprout! I had a local friend make this kimono in the Wa-loli style because Sprout likes lots of bows and ribbons on clothing. Plus, it's light in color and has some nice pastel designs on it. She also got to wear her new shoes so she was pretty happy overall. So here she is! When I was shown fabrics in pictures, that one jumped out at me immediately. And yes, she's a Tsundere from the word go.... but that's why I love her so much. Heh, I'm not sure if she'd be too happy with longer hair, she complains about how hard her hair is to fix now but that may be so she can get Sango to brush it for her. And thanks about her kimono! It seems white fabrics are harder to find, I got lucky that one of the local BJD people here had this material already. Check on Etsy and see of there are any people making kimonos, I know there used to be a few places that did and they had lighter colored fabrics. I knew this outfit would look good on her but I dind't expect her to be THIS adorable in it. And I love the colors and pattern, it's a perfect fit for her. I absolutely loved the ending. It's great seeing her being her usual grumpy/happy self. I'm glad she got to show off her shoes, though. I'm sure that made it worth her while.
