Zero Posted January 15, 2013 Seeing how today was a nice day outside I was going to work in the shop. I just got the tablesaw cleared and I get a nock on the door. Karinka: Hay Emil you in here. Me: I'm here whats up. Saya: Were borad. So we came to help out if thats ok. Beth: But if its to much trouble then we can do something else. Me: No thats fine. Looks like I get some helpers today. To start with I cut a board to 21 inches by about 12 inches wide. What ever it comes from the store. I got the girls to set the tablesaw to cut my board in to 3/4 inch strips. Beth: A little more, a little more, almost there. Saya: This thing is heavy. You better be pushing too Karinka. Karinka: I am, are you pushing Saya. Beth: All set ready to go. Saya: So whats next. Karinka: Cleaning, cleaning, cleaning its so fun to do. Me: Okay girls I need eight of the better looking ones set to the side. Saya: Got it. Beth: This one looks good. Karinka: vrooom vroooom. Saya: If you dont stop playing around I am going to hit you with this thing. Beth: Ahh you cant do that Saya. You will nock her head clean off. Saya: It fine, Emil can get her a new one and mayby she will get a brain with it. Beth: But you cant. And besides you cant pick up that hammer anyways. Karinka: Ill be good plzzzz dont hit me. Me: Okay timeout. Yall go over there and play nice. Okay this is what I got. The eight sticks are for my sides. The others are for my tops and bottoms. It got quite for a sec. So I looked over to see what was going on. Looks like the girls found the play set I made some time ago for the playground story. Well as long as they are not at one another its cool. I cut the remaining sticks to about 4 an 1/2 inches long. The thin sticks where going to be used but I did not feel like useing them in the end. Okay here I did a rabbit cut to all my sticks. It makes them in to L shaps if you look at them from the ends. See L shap. Saya: Stop being a smartbutt. I just cut some noches into the sides and started to put thing together. Okay time to sand. Oh girls. Beth: Slow and take my time this is not a race. Saya: This sucks. Karinka: Ttttttthhhhhiiiiissss iiiiiisssss ssssssooooo mmmmmuuuuucccchhhh ffffuuuunnnn !!!!!! Beth: All done. Saya: What now. Karinka: Can I ride the sander again. Me: Ah no. Time to put the hard wear on. Me: See something like that. Got it. Karinka: Hold it still Saya. Saya: I am. Turn it faster. Beth: And we need a hole here. Karinka: Okay Beth pull your end out some more. Saya: Waht now. Me: Okay yall add the paper and Ill go work on the poly glass. Okay I had some poly seting around from another project but it is clear. But there is a way to fix that. All you have to do is sand it on both sides. It makes it look frosted. This is me showing how I cut the poly. I could of done it on the tablesaw but it is thin and easy to brack. Me: Where did everyone go. I cant see them. Beth, Karinka and Saya all giggling at me. Okay added the poly and shes done. Me: So did you girls have fun today. Beth: It was alot of fun. Saya: The sanding part sucked.... Me: your telling me. Saya: ...but other then that I had fun. Karinka: Can I ride the sander one more time. Me: No Knock, Knock Tiffany: Hellooo. Me: Hay Tiffany. Do you need anything. Tiffany: I was looking for the girls. It is time for them to eat and them take there baths. Me: Okay Ill get them. Tiffany: Thanks Emil. Saya: Hurry and hide it. Beth: Its not time for her to see it yet. Karinka: I dont want a bath. Me: OOOkay. Looks like this project is getting tyed to some other project. Till then.
